I posted this on the neptune forum, but thought someone here might be able to help. Im going to try to get ahold of moates on moday if i cant get this resolved....

I have connected my tunerview to my computer, configured it, updated the firmware, programmed the unit.
I connected the tunerview to the quarterhorse using the cable provided that was pinned the same on both ends. The only port that will do anything is the slave port...it will let the tunerview power up, but will only display data for spark advance. Everything else just sits still(ECT is stuck at 120, tps is stuck at 10%, etc). The other ports wont let the EEC power up properly, the fuel pump just runs continuously. I even tried swappign the last two pins on the quarterhorse side of the cable, but that just made no port work at all.

Really confused at this point and at a loss for where to go next.

This thing is cool, but worthless unless i can get it working. If I had realized that the ford support was so minimal, I may have just decided not to buy it.

Oh, im using a gufb tune as well....suppose to be tested and working on those

I will apologise up front that I can't help you with your exact issue, but Moates support is fantastic, so don't lose faith just yet. I don't know what you are referring to as ford stuff having minimal support, as I have always found everyone very helpful, especially here. Being the weekend, it might be a bit quiet on here too.
Good luck, hopefully someone can get you sorted quickly. If not on here, then Moates certainly will.

oh yeah, moates is great. Ive already called them a few times for other issues.
I think the tunerview is made by hrtuning and just sold thru moates. So i don't expect moates to solve the issue, but ill give them a shot.

HRtuning's ford support for the tunerview is very minimal. I read one place that it was just "experimental" and they have all but stopped supporting it. If I had known that i would have done something else.

But yeah, I want it to work since I have it, and there is already a big ole hole im my dash for it :surprised:
