I recently purchased/installed a Moates QH and Binary Editor. I'm on BE 2010 build 32, installed on Windows 7 pro x64.

Every time I turn on the data logging, I get 7-10 seconds in and it stops. I've dug through the search features and ran across several suggestions to address the issue.

So far:

loaded the driver for the QH per the instructions in the "getting connected" guide.
set up the QH using mode 2 slot 2
copied the files from c:\program files(x86)\binaryeditor\drivers\amd64 to c:\windows\system32
modified registry - hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\gtdibus\parameters\RetryResetCount changed from 50-200 (decimal)
tried several usb latency settings (2/4/5/8/16)

Another strange thing to note, when I first installed the drivers, I installed them on "usb serial port" in the device manager. Once the driver install is complete, I end up with a "quarterhorse" device, but I still have a "usb serial port" under Other Devices.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping it's something obvious that I'm just missing.

Just for reference, in case anyone runs across the same issue:

We needed to add a second driver on the "usb serial port" that wasn't recognized. Use the same quarterhorse.inf, chose FTDI as manufacturer, then scroll down to "usb serial port". There are two, I believe we chose the top one.
