you put the tweecer

when you open EA go to the settings or about tab (can't remember exactly right now) and it will spit out the machine code, give that to clint and he'll get you sorted from there

Its asking me which logger to use. It dosn't have tweecer as an option.

I'd like to get this setup for tomorrow, i'm meeting with someone who knows this a little better than I do and want to take advantage having good software finally.

The logger section is for additional loggers. The tweecer has a built in logger and that comes with the tweecer license. The others are only selected if you have the corresponding hardware to go with it.

My question sits along these same lines.
I'm using an Autometer Wide Band ... Do I not choose a logger at all (when purchasing software) or is there a specific one the corresponds close enough to the Autometer?

The answer is...it depends.

If you are wiring the WB up to the EGR Position (EVP) sensor input and datalogging the WB via your tuning hardware, then no. You do not need additional licensing. However if the WB is wired to a DataQ Input datalogger, then you'd need to make sure your license also includes the DataQ.

In the case of WBs that BE supports datalogging directly via serial COM port connection (e.g. Innovate & PLX), then you'd need them as part of your license IF you planned to datalog them via their serial connection. If you datalog them through the EGR, then these fall into the same category as any other input coming in through the EVP sensor input.

Last I heard, baseline BE license includes a datalogging/tuning hardware like the TwEECer or QH and one auxiliary logger like an Innovate WB, DataQ, or PLX. So if you had a Moates QH and an Innovate LC-1, you could buy a license to communicate to those two. If you added a DataQ later to pickup boost/fuel pressure or oil/trans temps, then the addition of the DataQ to your license would be some additional fee ($10 I think?).

Does that make sense?

Perfect sense.
I have no plans or interest in buying a DataQ or what have you (plus if it's something that can be upgraded "to" later on ... no worries for now).
I just want to get something (software) where I can log my tune and my wideband data. Right now, I'm still trying to re-familiarize myself with all the jargon and what controls and/or effects this or that (messed around with tuning my last SN95 back in the early 2K's ... when eec-tuner and tweecer NON RT were the only options). I'm currently editing bins with BE (nothing outrageous or exotic, mostly using bins I've downloaded from here and comparing them) and loading them to my QH with Tuner Pro 5.
Now that I'm becoming (a bit more) comfortable with the tuning aspect, I want to get the software that will allow me to get this thing running right (even if I have to have someone else help me with the keystrokes, LOL)
