Would it be possible to activate TAPGN in GUFX? I would like to experiment with it but any value entered reverts to 0 so I am assuming it is not activated. Can it be activated?

The problem isn't that it needs to be activated. The problem is the visible decimal place needs to be increased. Right now, it is 0. I've set it to 5, along with VTPGN's decimal setting. Update your def with that setting. Next post I make of GUFx defs will have this fixed along with about a dozen other similar scalars that have "bad" decimal place values for their conversion and resolution.

You are so awesome. Now 1 question...lol... when modifying tapgn how much change is acceptable. if I wanted to amplify it by say 10% would I multiply by 1.10 or just change the value to .10?

I'd say multiply it by 1.10.

I edited my post above after you'd posted. As I said, that's not the only scalar that has a "bad" decimal place value. If you really need it, I'll go ahead and post what will be Rev 89 tonight. There's more than a few changes so I guess it's about time for an update.

It never ceases to amaze me all the crap that's still found in the GUFx defs even after all these years.

Were you able to get a chance to update to rev. 89 yet? Just curious, I tried to update through BE and there was nothing available. I also noticed On Clints site that it is rev. 88. You probably found some more stuff that required more time then anticipated.. 8)

The GUFx rev 89 defs are posted. The most significant change is support for BE2011. Although there are also a lot of small changes such as the inclusion of "intelligent" decimal place viewing for small values. I called myself going through all the scalars and getting all the obvious stuff, but I easily could've missed one here and there since this was a manual process, not something that I could easily automate. If I did, we'll deal with it when it is found. I realize as I'm typing this, I did not check the functions, only the scalars.
