To install BE I'm required to install 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components from MS. Problem is, this seems to only work with Office 2007. I'm still using 2003. Is there a workaround besides upgrading to Office 2007?
Thanks

P.S. I used BE years ago just fine. As a last resort, is there an old version out there I could download for the time being?

BE 2010 Install prompts me to download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=7554f536-8c28-4598-9b72-ef94e038c891
It will not continue without 2007 Office System Driver being installed as far as I can tell.

I did find that Clint linked to BE 2009 still available here: http://www.eecanalyzer.net/downloads/BE2009.zip

If BE 2010 DOES require Office 2007 I would be interested in lisensing BE 2009 if that is an option.

I would shoot clint an email and he will get you fixed right up. I dont know of any ms drivers that are required but there are certain ftdi drivers required. The newest is version 2.8.14 which can be found on moates.net.

BE does not need the office suite to work. It only needs a few components that Microsoft provides free of charge that are office related.
