I puchased a QH loaded with a tune for my set-up from Power Adder Solutions. Installed it in my ECM and my car (93GT) runs really well, AFR looks good etc. I also purchased a copy of BE, loaded the drivers, calibration code and strategy. I don't want change the PAS tune, so here's the dumb question. When I plug my laptop into the QH and run BE is it going to overwrite the tune PAS loaded? I imagine it wouldn't unless I gave it the command to but since EFI tuning is new to me just want to make sure. I basically want to be able to monitor things at this point and will be getting a buddy of mine involved in fine tuning, he is much more versed on EFI/ECM than I am. Thanks in advance.

When you open BE and have the car hooked up to the laptop, you will see a section called hardware. You can go in there and select the tunes that are already loaded. The only way to change the tune would be to either update the tune or write a tune onto the 1-8 selectable tunes.

Actually what I think you would want to do is plug the QH into the laptop after you open BE and "READ" the tune from the hardware and save it to your folder where you would save your tunes. Then you can modify it or do what you want with it and you'll have a back up of the tune.
