I'm sorting out a problem with rolling idle when the EEC-V spark modulation grossly overshoots and oscillates (ie going from 5°BTDC to 26° BTDC). When this is happening fuel and ISC DC stay relatively constant. When the spark is not oscillating the idle is rock-solid. There are bunch of things that control this in later EEC-V (including some of the torque modulation functions, including "reserve torque" for idle stabilization) and I don't have time right now to sort it all out. I'd like to just disable the part of the Idle strategy that relies on spark control. Is there a single scalar I can change that will essentially disable it for the time being?
FWIW, the CNAB1 strategy computer I'm using seems to be closely related to CDANx so whatever would accomplish this on CDANx would likely work for me. When I perused the CDAN2 strategy doc I didn't see a single switch that disabled the function but several scalars that might work...
