now that i've finally got my fuel dialed in and my afr where i want it...i'm ready to put my zex nitrous kit on. i think i'm going to start small with just a 50HP shot. What all should I adjust in my tune to get the best results. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to retard my timing a couple degrees...what would be the best way to do that? i'm not quite sure what table or function needs adjusted to do so.

I forgot to mention its a wet kit. I'm also already running a step colder plug. I'm hoping that the jets will keep the AFR pretty close to where I'm at now...but what would be the optimal AFR to shoot for...12.5 or so?

Pretty sure for N20 or any power added, you want to target, 11.7 - 11.8.

You shouldn't have to add any fuel with a wet kit. Just run stock timing and see how it is.

For a 50hp shot of nitrous you will not need to decrease the timing as the decreased temp of the aircharge will prevent detonation with such a slight power increase. As far as target AFR is concerned I usually end up with around .5 AFR richer than what you are running NA but reading the plugs will tell the story and is the only way to tune nitrous IMO.

BTW I would suggest correcting your target fueling with jetting rather than in the calibration.

I got the system hooked up last night and I'm definitely gonna just start with the 50 shot. I haven't messed with the timing on this car yet so its still stock. Hopefully I'll be fine where I'm at esecially with that small of a HP increase. I think its recommened 2 degree of retard for every 75 HP or so...we'll see how it goes.
