A template is nothing more than a fast way of making a common change to a tune. Sometimes known as a 'value file'; a template can help prevent skipping over and missing a value.

This is a continuance of tuneXchange which was formed solemnly for the DIY tuning community headed by my good friend Wes Ratcliff.

This is a work in progress so expect templates to be added modified and updated often.

All CBAZA definition templates were created using sailorbob's def, if your using the junk free XLS cbaza def then these templates more than likely won't load correctly and will probably do some odd things to your tune if they don't error out completely, so be warned. Sailorbob's def can be had for next to nothing so it would be wise and highly recommended to get it, if not shame on you.

Lock Idle Timing @ 30 degrees

GUFB

makes the engine more efficient at idle
aids in throttle response
reduces timing to 20 degrees above 1500 rpm @ closed throttle which is useful for boosted engine if the tps ever fails :shock: (had it happen before) also stops backfires for timing spike on boosted engines

Removes the stock maf clips for those with aftermarket maf's
prevents the ecu from disregarding the maf altogether if the idle voltage is below the stock value

Lean Closed Loop for Fuel Economy

Average Lambda ~1.05 (AFR ~15.4 for gasoline) during closed loop at idle and cruise

useful for those with 1 hego or for those that have turbo setups, also bias's the hego lean right around ~1.05 lambda (~15.3 AFR for gasoline)
improves fuel economy
improves throttle response
decreases fuel odors for lapping cams
REMEMBER... you can only use hego1 the passenger side


if you have trouble with this which you shouldn't but if you do set the hego bias table to all 0s to richen her back up to stoich

NOTES:
This is not a template, this a 56k .bin calibration.

Stock a9l.bin with fn1360 patch code and table data applied properly. It is disabled by default. I left it disabled because you the user will need to determine whether you want it "enabled" or "enabled with no WRMEGO check".

Notes:
This is not a template. This is a stock A9L 56k .bin with Z_KAMCLR enabled.

When you want to clear the kamrfs of any learned fuel trims; you can write this tune to the hardware with the key off engine off. Once written to the hardware cycle the key on and off 3 times. With the key off load your current tune or tune you want to use and the kamrfs and any learned fuel trims will be cleared.
