I have finally broken down and purchased BE 2012 and EA. What I'm looking at is where is the best place to start. I have read the before and after of purchasing a QH and BE/EA. But I'm still not sure where to start. I have a LM-1 and I am using it to data-log my wide band and simulate the narrow band input to my ECU. I know that this isn't optimal, but getting someone to weld in separate bung is difficult in my area. My datalogs indicate that my system is lean overall. What would be my first steps in getting my tune correct?

I ran datalogs today and change the MAF curve and the Injector slopes as well as the injector offsets (per the EA recommendations). But the WBo2 still indicates lean, very lean. My KAMRF indicate 1.00 the whole time and LAMBASEs do not match the wide band all of the time. I know that I have to get my slopes right first (having trouble getting EA to calculate). Where should I start?

if its lean across the board you can either go multiply the whole maf curve which i would recommend against, or simply reduce the slopes to get more injection

would help if you had more info in your sig

Tonight I tried couple things on my tune. I still wound up on the lean side for most of the runs. I set the tune to force open loop, cleared the KAMs and each time it would indicate lean. I put the data logs into EA and entered the curves and slopes, but I never seemed to get close. So when I got home, I put the stock A9L tune in and my wideband and HEGOs indicated correctly(at least at or around idle). I'm baffled.

before I was using the A9L with the following changes:
EGR disabled
long tube header template
nonstock maf template
30#ev1 injectors template
and a MAF curve recommended by EA

Motor set up:
stock 302 longblock
all emissions deleted except cats
BBK long tube headers with BBK H-pipe with cats
Trick Flow Box R intake with stock TB
Summit MAF calibrated for 30# injectors
Paxton 1220SL supercharger ~5# boost

This set up is what came on the car

tuning around a mechanical issue is fun, in this case, tuning with the wrong information is fun, best advice i can give you is trust the hegos, i'll take the hegos word over a widebands anyday, the only thing you need a wideband for is WOT, that is only if your too scared to run her in closed loop at WOT to dial your fuel in lol, do not recommend that method but it is an alternative if no other means are present
