So I have uninstalled BE, run FTDI clean, restored my computer to original, added everything back, installed drivers according to "Getting Connected" and this post...

Mine shows USB Serial under Comm 4, even tho I don't have 4 Comm Ports, Quartehore shows under USB Connectors as it should..

And now I get this "Unhandled exception has occured in yoiur application.If you click continue...yadda yadda...The handle is invalid"

WTF, BE used to work perfect for me, but in thge last several months, nothing but problems logging...

Ok, let's try this...got rid of that error..I now have 2 versions of Quartehore showing up under USB Devices, 1 active and 1 inactive, seems to work, is that right? No USB serial converter shows up anywhere

I use 2010 also, just some "resetpipecount" thing on regedit people suggested changing

I stayed at build 18, be updates off, windows updates off, no antivirus. No hiccups for more then a year now.

That's what sucks, this worked great when I got it, then last fall it started acting up, some have suggested it was a windows update...
