Finally got the car fired. Thanks Decipha for your idle air 101. Took some time to work my way thru it, but the car now idles @ 850.

My next question.

The exhaust smells rich, the cam has some overlap and off idle throttle feels soggy. How do I lean it out?

How can I verify the eec switches from OL to CL? OLFLG in the datalog switching from 0 to 1?

Next is the drive and I'd like to look at injector timing.

youll need to dial in your fuel 1st then you can worry about transients

Injectors have been set using published Ford data for FMS 42lb'ers.
