Windows 11 with LM-2, Tweecer R/T and BE 5.365
It's been some time. Thought I'd post if someone else has been chasing their tail. As usually, I upgraded cratered tuning laptop and went to windows 11 - uggg!. It took me over a year to finally get my LM-2 working. The LM-2 worked fine on all other versions of windows including windows 10 without p...

Re: Windows 8(Win8) Tweecer Drivers
It's almost been a year since I had to do this again. This time with more trouble. I had to go into the BE/Drivers folder and specifically pick the two Tweecer and Innovate drivers. It kept failing with a "hash" error message when I selected the drivers folder. It couldn't find the proper drivers. G...

Re: HEGO Switching, SWTFLn, HEGOn_NoSwitch
Already verified as I stated in my first post. Could I have something wrong with my version of software (BE), hardware (Tweecer), etc unique to me. Yes I could and hence my request to have someone else verify so we don't send developers down a rat hole. My request seemed like a simple ask.

Re: HEGO Switching, SWTFLn, HEGOn_NoSwitch
Checked Flags4 bit 4/5 but it doesn't seem to correlate to switching. So I'm back to something is up with Flags4 bit 2. Not working. Can't see the passenger side hego switching using SWTFL1. I continue to play with my HEGO functions and this is a good way to see the switching behavior besides eyebal...

Re: HEGO Switching, SWTFLn, HEGOn_NoSwitch
I'm assuming that from what I've read that: 1) SWTFL = to?? Haven't found the variable in the GUFB but it seems to referred to as "EGOn Switch" 2) HEGOn_NoSwitch = to LEGOFGn in the GUFB which is the lack of EGOn switching flag I'm pretty sure something in wrong in the def with SWTFL1 -wrong bit? I'...

HEGO Switching, SWTFLn, HEGOn_NoSwitch
Running BE 2012 Version 5.41. Can someone please verify for me with a quick log that SWTFL1/2 are logging correctly via BE. I'm getting SWTFL2 and both HEGOn_NoSwitch (1 and 2) logging fine but SWTFL1 seems to be static on 0. can someone explain the GUFB variables that are being logged with these tw...

Re: Windows 8(Win8) Tweecer Drivers
Yup worked fine once I disabled driver verification per Mike's instructions an then installed the Tweecer driver on his Tweecer site. You can skip the video instruction to load RT132 and Borland Database Engine if you're using BE/EA.

Re: Windows 8(Win8) Tweecer Drivers
Ok just found a tutorial on the Tweecer site by Mike Glover giving specific instructions for Win7/8. Looks like you need to disable driver verification to get the drivers installed. I'll try this and report back.

Windows 8(Win8) Tweecer Drivers
Just purchased a Dell Insipron 2 in 1 3000 touchcreen running Win8. Innovate drivers loaded fine for LM2 but Tweecer drivers not playing nice. I re-read the BE Connectivity Write-up. When I select the Tweecer.bus driver through device manager I get an error that says it found the driver but can't in...

Re: BE2012 Version 5.35 Marker
Thank you Chris. I've made changes to the 408w and working on fueling. Open loop is spot on. KAMRFs don't wander beyond 1% in closed loop but I'm now dealing with the "beaten to death in the forums" lean stumble. I'm forcing open loop at idle and use DFSO very effectively. I only get this problem in...

BE2012 Version 5.35 Marker

Can't get the marker to work datalogging. Hit CTRL while logging and hit again, nothing is changing in "Marker" column in datalog. Can't find a setting to enable or disable. Any thoughts?

Re: Bosch/FAST 36lb White Giant 0280155868 Injector Settings
I'm curious for those of you that are using these injectors what your final high/low slope and breakpoint has turned out to be. I've played around a lot and it seems that I've settled on High Slope = 36.5008 and Low Slope = 47.2504 (lbs/hr) with a breakpoint of 3.65 x 10e-5 lb/rev. Because the spec ...

Re: Delayed data logging
Just wanted to follow-up on my issue. Clint jumped on teamviewer last night and did some troubleshooting. There was an error in the GUFB - Revision 98 strategy file for DSDRPM on the Payload worksheet. Not exactly sure of the error in the file but Clint will contact Chris. Now works as expected. Greg

Re: Delayed data logging
Well, tried setting latency. Didn't help. Also tried giving users full permission to BE folder and subfolders (through inheritance) but no luck. No error messages. But the status at bottom says Tweecer: Started and then Tweecer:Polling Stopped. I used FTClean to clear all drivers then reloaded both ...

Re: Delayed data logging
Thanks for the quick response Clint. Let me play around tonight. I'll apply permissions and change latency and see if I can get any behavior change. I'll try and get a bit more information and exact behavior.

Re: Delayed data logging
Just upgraded to dongle and BE2012 from BE2010. My normal tuning computer is still running BE2010 and works great with Tweecer and LM2. But I'm having issues with BE2012 upgrade, Tweecer and logging. Both laptops are running Vista, one that works with BE2010 and LM2 and the one that is struggling wi...

Re: BE2010 and Innovate LM-2 not Datalogging AFR
Thank you Clint. For the rest - one of two actions resolved the problem. 1) Clint re-regreistered the Innovate mts.dll and mtssdk.ocx files using regsvr32. 2) I'm not sure how I ever had the Innovate LM-2 working for the last few year - I think dumb luck because I didn't realize that with BE2010 tha...

Re: BE2010 and Innovate LM-2 not Datalogging AFR
I'm at a loss. Install goes without error. I install Logworks and drivers first. Then BE and drivers second. Both Tweecer and Innovate devices work as expected including hardware found, polling etc., Tweecer logs fine, Logworks logs fine but the AFR doesn't log in BE. I don't know what to do next ex...

Re: BE2010 and Innovate LM-2 not Datalogging AFR
I've been loading the tweecer drivers after logworks drivers. I install logworks then BE2010 (build 43 or 47 can't remember). With all applications closed, I connect LM-2 device and install drivers then I connect Tweecer and install the port and bus drivers. Is there an issue being created because I...

Re: BE2010 and Innovate LM-2 not Datalogging AFR
Thanks for the reply. I'm using AFR1 for the channel name so it doesn't get confused with anything else. Transfer function is in decending order but I didn't think it was used as the LM-2 is sending over the AFR vs. a voltage that needs to be translated. I there any way to debug and see the datastre...

BE2010 and Innovate LM-2 not Datalogging AFR
Can't believe I'm back posting about LM-2 datalogging. Upgraded my laptop from XP to Vista SP2 and now I'm having trouble. I've been using this laptop on XP to datalog for several years with the LM-2 and Tweecer so it's not my first rodeo although it feels like it. Both Tweecer and LM-2 drivers seem...

Re: Closed Loop Limit Cycle Jumpback and Ramp Rates
Ok I think it just hit me after re-reading some of your comments to my post. I knew it was in front of my face. On page 6-30 the GUFB doc says, "After an EGO switch, a finite amount of time (equal to the transport lag) should pass before th eEGO can switch." I think this is the final link between th...

Re: Closed Loop Limit Cycle Jumpback and Ramp Rates
Thank you so much for the reply. It helped validate my thinking and interpret the diagram. I've always found the rudimentary diagrams (although like many of us I started with punch cards, Cobal and, Fortran and somehow ASCII holds a special place in my heart) very helpful to understand what the equa...

Closed Loop Limit Cycle Jumpback and Ramp Rates
Been digging into closed loop now that I'm past Open Loop fuel and maf. I'm working on trying to get a smaller swing in my limit cycle or smaller peak to peak amplitude. I'm going to start by reducing the amplitude to cgrey8's numbers of .2288. I've read a number of good posts on HEGO amplitude, bia...

Re: Erratic Maf Readings
I've read that Fuel 101 thread a few times. Lots of good info in there. I'm using what I think is the collective aproach starting with open loop - no kams, no cl to dial in fuel. MAF or Slopes? - I'm working your method with slopes/breakpoint. Transients still need some work. Then I'll go back to cl...
