Re: can't write with JBird 2 or Burn 2 error 46

I updated the firmware on the jbird from 5.14 to 5.16 and it fixed my problem.

link to moates firmware for anyone else that may have this issue with "F3V2" chips made in 2016 and after.

Smart move, welcome back. More and more people will follow suit in time. Tuning doesn't need to be any more difficult than it already tends to be until you get the hang of things. What are you having troubles with? had good luck with it in the beginning, before things just started getting complicat...

That motor was to rich, over timed, with to hot of a spark plug, and the fuel was not cold enough.

I Use the maf curve, because I spray in front of the maf. It hits parts of the curve on the higher end of the maf curve that would never even be seen naturally aspirated. I also use the IAT for timing control. I like the computer to see the n2o.

with a single nozzle set up dry is the way to go. the problem with a single wet nozzle is tribble, and what ever cylinder scavenges the best usually gets the majority of the fuel. so you will have a couple cyl's that run very lean and a few cyl's that run very rich because of this. plenum plates pro...

belt slip has nothing to do with blowing out spark. the higher the pressure is in the cylinder the harder it is for the spark to bridge the gap. never have I ever been able to run any engine with positive atmosheric pressure, on a stock NA style heat range plug on pump gas. it will detonate it's ass...

yes, the pin snapped. one piece stayed in the bin bore the other left with the ti rod that all most cut the block in half. the piston was still in the bore, at the top of the deck. 110 inch 4cyl 1.8L alcohol and nitrous injected motec system with 3.5 bar. Was good for 7.0's @ 190's in the quarter. 6...

i like the 94+ ecu idea. multiple power levels is very important to me. power magment. do i need it to go a few rounds, or a 1000 miles.
