GT40 Lowers and KB Blowers
Seems the use of Explorer lowers to mount Kenne Bell blowers has been hit and miss, some people have good luck and others wind up with about 1/8" misalignment on the belt and have issues. I had some lowers and took some measurements compared to a Cobra lower and found I had one of the ones that woul...

Re: Flow Boundary Layers in Engine Inlets
This tech article will introduce you to what happens to the air column in a closed duct system (intake and head port) as well as giving you an example of how to tell if your system has laminar or turbulent flow. Most (if not all) engines have turbulent flow, but at least you'll know exactly what peo...

Re: EEC-IV Adaptive Control according to Mike Wesly
Nice synopsis cgrey8. Mike wrote this quite a while ago and while informative, it does not go into a great deal of depth - but any good information is better than none. I never got the impression that it said adaptive would be done in a very short period of time. I would try to keep the MAF at least...

I do want to state that this article appears to assume a stock tune controlling the engine it was tuned from the factory for (i.e. a Mustang GT EEC like an A9L or A9P controlling a stock Mustang GT 5.0L). As most of us DIY tuners know, this procedure doesn't work when the tune you are working with ...
