Dialing in fuel

I've recently moved to some 42lb injectors. When I'm in OL, it tend to have an AFR richer than lambse. But when I'm in closed loop, it tend to run lean. I've attached two files. One for open loop and one for closed loop. I thought I was getting close on my injector slopes, but wonder if I should res...

Re: Injector tuning question

Have you tried using the Ford Racing specs for their 42# injectors? They would be a good starting point for you. m-9593-f302 42#.pdf Hi slope = 43.0092 Lo slope = 46.0656 Breakpoint = 2.12 Min PW = 1.130 Also use the Ford Racing battery/voltage offset Thanks for your response. I actually started wi...

Re: Injector tuning question

Your right, it could be a lot of things. I don't think this is just a BP issue. The HS could be off along with others. Here is a datalog for you to look at. It is a short one. You can see where it goes lean when I put it in reverse. It hoovers around 17 when I drive it around. Thanks for your help R...

Injector tuning question

I have some cheap china 42lb ebay specials I'm working with. Yes... I know they are crap and will look at the 60lb dekas later. In the mean time, I've got them installed and I'm currently working with HS of 43.01 and LS of 58.5 with a BP of 10.1. I can get it to idle ok now, with ~ 6% error in Lambs...

Re: Going in and out of OL?

Thanks for the reply. I had not scaled my load fn035. I've gotten that done, or at least closer. It also helped put my spark in range.

Thanks

Going in and out of OL?

What would some of the reason be that would cause the EEC to go out of Closed Loop? Some things make sense like WOT or when I'm decelerating and the AFR goes above the max 18.3 setting for CL. But, at other times its during normal acceleration or driving. It was doing it less before I enriched the M...

Warm idle air startup issue

I'm trying to figure out an idle issue where it dies once its started when warm after driving. Once it's started, sometimes it starts hunting idle and oscillating for a few seconds then dies if I don't feather the gas. I'm working with a 393W stroker, SN95 computer, 4r70w in a '71 bronco. I've adjus...

Re: Logging a Torque Converter with a CBAZA EEC

Thanks for the reply. BCSDC is a % of lockup correct? What is TCCLK then? Is it used for logging?

Logging a Torque Converter with a CBAZA EEC

Hi. New to the forum. I'm trying to see when my TC is locking. I'm running a Explorer EFI/4R70W with a '94 computer. Can someone explain how to log TCCLK using BE? I don't see it listed as an item in the payload list. Also, I've been logging BCSDC which is described as Torque Converter Lockup in BE....
