Re: craj0 xdf anyone have any of the common parameter addresses?

Are you using the custom CRAJ0 xdf that uses a custom adx made by Decipha? They need to be used together using TunerPro IF he supports his own work. I dont think you can successfully mix xdf/.bins with adx/strategies. xdf/adx or .bin/strategy should be used depending on the tuning software. What are...

I suspect it's less a matter of money and more a matter of taking the time to renew it. And since it requires admin access to the server, only Jon can update it.
I just tried to email him and Microsoft Outlook rejected my email...lol

Re: EXPIRED CERTIFICATE

The person that can fix it obviously doesn't care. I've notified him multiple times. But either his email address has changed or it's just not a high priority to him. Fortunately the site still works otherwise. Anything we can do on our end to fix it? How much would it cost to take the site over?

Re: Hot Start and Restart Problems

Ah yes, I see the difference. There has to be a tray or pocket of somesort the fuel pump sits in. You should have no issue running the fuel level down past 1/8th tank without any sloshing issues. I expect that behavior with a sump tank or stock tank with a broken fuel tray/pocket. Maybe your fuel pu...

Re: Hot Start and Restart Problems

It's the stock Ranger sending unit. I don't know how similar they are to Mustang's sending unit. I do know I cannot let the fuel level get below 1/4. The 255lph pump will pull air if I take a tight turn or slam on brakes and the fuel level is low. So I've just learned to refuel when the needle gets...

Re: Hot Start and Restart Problems

I updated my response above with an image of what my in-tank sending unit looks like. I see that now. Interesting design. I'm wondering if you could switch over to a Mustang tank. That would most likely fix your problem. I'm sure the Ranger engineers never anticipated a 255lph pump to be used in th...

Re: Hot Start and Restart Problems

Have you tried opening the gas cap to see if there is any built up pressure when you experience this issue? Could be vapor lock. Is your fuel pump hanger the same as a stock fox body Mustang hanger? The tank vents into the stock carbon canister. I guess it's possible the tube is blocked. Although I...

Re: Hot Start and Restart Problems

This past weekend, I drove the truck down to South Ga (from Atlanta area) and while the truck cranks fine hot when it's only run for 20-30 minutes, if it runs for longer than an hour, it does seem to have trouble re-cranking. It does crank, but it has trouble cranking. This obviously isn't an issue...

I NEVER increase fn348, always DECREASE the msec values. Always decrease it when a larger than stock injector is used. This is what mine looks like with 80's compared to stock a9p: 65534 0.25 65534 2.00 180 0.25 180 2.00 150 0.50 50 2.30 70 1.50 70 5.70 40 3.43 40 10.50 20 4.42 20 14.15 0 7.15 0 21....

Thanks Ed. Is it typical for a Pro-M MAF to be lean on the bottom end by 10% or so? It's one of these with the cone-style filter mounted on the end of it.
Lean at idle is a possibility but I am not sure about 10% lean if its properly calibrated for your application.

Breakpoint should be entered as 3.363. I would dial in your MAF by entering the correct breakpoint, disabling adaptive learning, forcing open loop and clearing the kamrfs....start tuning....in that order.

You can run the narrow band and wideband in either side as long as you set BE up accordingly. Bank 1 is passenger side...bank 2 is driver side.

I mentioned the versions of strategy and .bin because they have been updated many times including most recently and you may have been on a certain version that may or may not hinder switch selection performance.

I think the rom needs to be changed to tweecer on BE on scalers. I think its down by the checksum area. I wont have access to my laptop until tomorrow night to confirm. I had forgotten about that, but apparently I've messed with it in the past. I just opened BE and down at the bottom it said "Hardw...

Re: Moats and EEC Tuning Help

General rule of thumb, when working with a stock maf with upgraded injectors is that in your case you would divide 42/19=2.21. Multiply your factory maf curve kg/hr values by 2.21. Leave the voltages alone. You can highlite the entire column and right click, multiply 2.21. Thats how I came up with t...

Re: Moats and EEC Tuning Help

Check over the basics. Verify timing and fuel pressure. Check your plugs. How is your cam installed and how did you set your rockers? If you feel all the mechanicals are sound you can experiment with injector low slope and maf transfer function. A datalog would be extremely helpful now.
