Re: Bluetooth connecting to an Innovate LC-1

The biggest issue/difference is the fact that the lc1 was capable of outputting instant display speeds via lm programmer and their xd16 gauge and was in sync with BE. If there was an error as cgrey8 mentioned it was so minimal that it was unnoticeable. The newer mtxl series through innovate and upda...

Re: Bluetooth connecting to an Innovate LC-1

No, BE displays a value anywhere between .3-to.8 afr leaner than what is displayed on the gauge.

Re: Bluetooth connecting to an Innovate LC-1

EDS50, A difference between the duel converted analog signal and displayed data value is par for course. Grounding, wiring and DAC/ADC errors all have an effect on accuracy. In the instrumentation world calibrating out the errors is normal practice. The most accurate signal will be the serial data ...

Interesting, you would be surprised to see how far off the BE display is from an actual gauge.

You don't have a gauge for your lc1, how did you monitor wideband afr before?

What gives you that impression to create a thread like this? You will not get much attention or response when you create threads like this:

Re: Bluetooth connecting to an Innovate LC-1

Very interesting and inspiring work. Have you noticed any display delay between what the gauge is displaying vs what the BE dashboard is displaying? I know it is currently an issue with the mtxl wired through the evp port displaying values up to .6 difference between gauge and BE displays.

Re: DUMPING fuel in cylender #1 after injector install

The fuel pump should not run continuous after the key on priming sequence. A bad tune or dead battery on the QH will do this (if your are using a QH). No details so we don't know.

Re: Will not idle unless throttle is all the way to the floor

The maf transfer function you are using is for a pro-m 75mm bullet. Try my recommendation with the transfer and you may also need toplay with the injector slopes to get the car started. What do you have your plugs gapped to and what kind are they?

Re: Will not idle unless throttle is all the way to the floor

Sounds like most of your issue is going to be contained to your meter and tune since you are confident about the mechanicals which is good. You mentioned you loaded a 24# calibration which would be fine if you had 24# injectors but since you have 60# and are using what I assume are the motorsport sp...

Re: Will not idle unless throttle is all the way to the floor

I would advise sending your meter in to be recalibrated for the injectors and ecm you are using or upgrading to a pro-m 80 calibrated properly.. Using a auto computer with a stick conversion without changing the o2 harness usually results in burning the traces on the ecm board; add the fact that you...

Re: Racing with ECC and Quarter Horse

I race 8.50 index and have never experienced any e.t. loss using a 2-step. It is an interesting theory you have though. Best way to verify would be to pull codes right after a run when you experience this .10th loss in e.t. and see if any misfire codes are being stored or pending and take it from th...

Re: Just installed a wideband and it's showing really lean at idle.

Why would air be entering that area? The location for the sensor is fine. You have a tuning related issue because the car was tuned by an inexperienced tuner with a mechanical issue via vacuum leaks and who knows what else. Why the car only made power to 4000 rpm, we dont know without a datalog, tun...

Re: Just installed a wideband and it's showing really lean at idle.

Your car is setup to run full time open loop? You are using an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? You can gain insight into this by running the engine at two different fuel pressures while monitoring intake manifold vacuum and RPM. This is what I would do: Disconnect the idle speed control solenoi...

The OP does not need tuning capability to answer the question. Really, I am asking for details relevant to his questions. Just let him answer. The state of how I am feeling has no relevance to any of this. Nothing what you are asking is of any relevance to the o.p.'s questions or concerns. If you l...

Re: Just installed a wideband and it's showing really lean at idle.

Thank you. I was going to try to add some fuel pressure and see how it responds. I believe it's set at 38lbs right now. That is, unless you have another option? Was the fuel pressure set at the dyno with the vacuum leaks you fixed or did the vacuum leaks occur after the dyno? Do you have a fuel pre...

Provide facts, then we will have a discussion.
Are you feeling ok? Do you realize the o.p. relys on a dyno tuner and has no tuning capability or software? Why are you trying to get him to jump through any unnecessary hoops?
