I may be off base here, but the not reving past 3000 rpm is a symptom of having tunes from different versions of caledit loaded on the tweecer. Do ALL positions on your tweecer have tunes created with the same version? I had one position on mine that was made with 1.20. It was a copy of the base tun...

You need to get the Throttle Body Airflow, and Neutral Idle Airflow numbers right, asit appears to me the computer is trying to get the engine to idle at these numbers which willbe wrong for your non-stock combo. I used Clint's method outlined in EA to get the TB Airflow and ISC Neutral Idle Airflow...

Passed smog today! Thanks Tweecer!
Despite some DRAMA yesterday doing the h-pipe swap. Seems one of the nuts was frozen on the stud in the BBK Headers. AND the Stud was frozen in the flange. So the 1/2" stud broke off in the header. On the PASSENGER side. (you know the hard one to get out.) Fortunately, I was able to drill it out, wa...

I personally would be willing to chip in, say, $25.00, for Mike to finish a final version of CalEdit and Calcon for us. Sort of like a bounty. Just think, if 100 or so of us did this, you think it would work?

FWIW, my J4J1 tune shows 40% load at idle and the T4M0 tune I've been playing with shows 18% at idle.rockin_rick wrote: IIRC, J4J1 uses loadx (load scaling switch = 0) for the tables, while T4M0 uses load (load scaling switch = 2).
Rick
I wonder what changing the load scaling switch on my J4J1 tune would do....

It's the TB Airflow and ISC Neutral Idle Airflow numbers that you need to get right.

Oh, Price.... A few years ago, the only readily available wideband O2 sensor was the NTK L1H1 that was used on a single Honda Civic model car. The sensor itself wasn't too expensive at that time, 100.00 or so, and the controller wasn't either. I got my OZ-WB for about 250.00 assembled and tested fro...

It is a special O2 sensor, and a controller. A W/B sensor requires a heater circuit, which our cars don't have, and output in a much wide range than our computer can use. The controller will interface with the Tweecer through various methods, and some can even output a Narrowband signal so you can r...

As difficult as it might be, it will not be seeing boost for at least 500 miles. Just alot of driving around. I don't have the wideband on, and I promised myself I would get it on before I got into it. That said, the 8 lbs is with the same setup on the stock shortblock. Which broke 3 pistons. Likely...

On that same note, a50sn95 - how much CID do you have, as that is a lot of TB airflow. 351? FI? It's a .020 over 302 w/ 30 miles on it, 8.5-1 SpeedPro Forged, TFSTW's, Crane 2031, TFS 1.7's, TFS Street Heat and Elbow, Professional Products 75mm, Kirban Adjustable at stock PressurePro-M 80mm for 36'...

Re: DAshpot Pre-position
FWIW, the Dashpot PrePosition numbers I used below eliminated my stalling issues. Further, I idled down my street in 2nd gear. Something I couldn't do before. It would buck and kick so that I would have to push the clutch in. I could've idled for miles like this. It went up a little grade, down the ...

DAshpot Pre-position
Can someone tell me what the numbers in the function ISC Dashpot PrePosition are? I have a 75 MM throttle Body. I have used Clint's method as described in EA to get the TB Airflow and ISC Neutral Idle Airflow numbers. Worked like a charm. Eliminated my 1500 rpm idle for 20 seconds on letoff problem....
