Re: Problems Datalogging

I'm still waiting on my new distributor to see if that fixes the problem, but do you know where I can get a template for my 30# ford injectors. They are the redtop ones. I have a flow chart that came with my Pro-M 75mm maf so I can adjust that and then get it closer once I can start datalogging my A...

Re: Problems Datalogging

Thanks for the help. I didn't have mode 2 selected, and it looks like I definitely had some corrupt tunes on all 8 positions. I haven't cleared the RAM yet but I did go in any individually clear each tune position, followed up by a basic A9L tune to position 1, and then modified that tune to get clo...

Problems Datalogging

So my quarterhorse battery went dead and Moates sent me a new chip with a new battery. After reinstalling I'm having problems getting the datalogging to work. I'm able to write tunes and the car running now, but when I set up what I want to datalog and hit START, the numbers are funky. Battery volta...

fuel pressure regulator issues

I have a holley afpr that i bought a few years back and its acting screwy when i adjust the pressure up or down...i'd feel alot better just replacing the thing all together and was thinking about just buying a new STOCK FPR since i'm gonna adjust my fueling with my Quarterhorse anyways. I've just he...

Re: EEC tuning help!!!

like decipha said once you get the tuning aspect somewhat figured out, and i put alot of emphasis on somewhat, wouldn't it be nice any time you wanna try something different with ur car or a different combo, you can adjust the tune urself to compensate. thats why i'm tackling this myself and learnin...

Re: adjusting timing for nitrous

I got the system hooked up last night and I'm definitely gonna just start with the 50 shot. I haven't messed with the timing on this car yet so its still stock. Hopefully I'll be fine where I'm at esecially with that small of a HP increase. I think its recommened 2 degree of retard for every 75 HP o...

Re: adjusting timing for nitrous

I forgot to mention its a wet kit. I'm also already running a step colder plug. I'm hoping that the jets will keep the AFR pretty close to where I'm at now...but what would be the optimal AFR to shoot for...12.5 or so?

adjusting timing for nitrous

now that i've finally got my fuel dialed in and my afr where i want it...i'm ready to put my zex nitrous kit on. i think i'm going to start small with just a 50HP shot. What all should I adjust in my tune to get the best results. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to retard my timing a couple degrees......

how to disable the bap sensor

in my datalogs the reading i'm getting from the bap sensor is "0" which tells me the sensor is shot. i can't figure out how to disable it so that it doesn't matter. i'm pretty much at sea level and don't drive thru the mountains so it should be ok right? where do i go to disable this using binary ed...

how to set up 75mm ProM meter in Binary Editor

hey guys i'm pretty new here and just getting started tuning my car. i'm looking for some suggestions as to how to set everything up to work with my ProM 75 mm Maf meter.
