Re: Why auto disassembly is tough

the 4tab_el_spark is a modified 4tab with the el falcon spark tables. and yes, it has bank 8 loaded into it twice, not sure why they did that but obviously wasn't ford that did it. my copy also has junk in the filler instead of "ff"

Ive had that issue. Use the strat name but put an "a" after it. Needed to be 1 extra digit from memory to save.

Re: flashing f3v2 chip

V2 needs different firmware on the jaybird to work. So make sure that is correct. Then go in to hardware tab i think it is and go to the moates one. Which should open up the burning window. Chip needs to be blank. Then you load the save file into buffer. Then write chip from buffer

Re: what strategy does my bin use?

No 4.0 logging atm that im aware of. Im working on it tho. Slowly. A search of the listing for a3,01,00,0d, finds the check for the Engineering Console present. Though the surrounding code in 4TAD looks very different to all other bins I've tried this on. ac0b: a3,01,00,0d,24 ldw R24,[d00] R24 = [d...

Re: Performance Capacity of Stock SD EEC-IV System?

the catch code is most likey two or three alphanumeric characters printed on your ecu's main connector for example it will have something along the lines of L0S, A9L, CU, DF, not those but something like that if you post a pic of the connector we can verify lambse is the AFR the ecu is commanding h...

Re: Performance Capacity of Stock SD EEC-IV System?

Lumpy cams run super rich ( not lean), atleast on my sd based eec due to the fact of less vac at certain rpm the eec thinks it is under load

Re: Best ecu for running Aussie Intech 4.0 I6

The aussie i6 ecus are completly different to the american ones. The au ecus is defined enough to get you started, im always looking for more parameters to add to the defs. You can use the defs from t.i with tunerpro, but unless you get one converted (or see if sailorbob has one) you cant use it wit...

Re: Developing a disassembler. Send me your binaries to test

Sometimes SAD doesn't recognise the routine which does the table and function accesses, or it misses a chunk of code which calls that routine for a table - these are the kind of things I am trying to sort out for next release. Some of the subroutines which have embedded parameters are difficult to ...

Re: what strategy does my bin use?

I use a techedge wideband controller to log. I got the q/h cause its live tuning while the car is running. That way i dont have to stop, turn the car off, change the tune, reinsert the j3 and start again. Once the tune is set with the q/h i just put it on a j3.

Re: what strategy does my bin use?

you can use the q/h with the aussie 6 and 8 with t/p and use the availiable defs from t.i. there are no issues with tuning. im using one on my ef. its the data logging side of things that I cant use atm

Re: what strategy does my bin use?

Yes you can log with q/h and t/p RT. But you will need an adx file to do so and im not sure if one has been made for the aussie 8's yet. I cant find one for the 4.0

Re: what strategy does my bin use?

The qh give the ability to live tune. Thats why im using one. Hell of alot easier for when i tune customers cars. Then put the final tune onto a t.i chip. What do you think it might do?
