Re: Datalogging stopping after 10 seconds
Setup my garage pc to hook to the car, did use a 15' usb cable with the extender powered module thing (to keep signal at a good level)in the middle. It did stop(datalogging) so I hooked my laptop up to it with no extension, straight to the ecm and same thing. The laptop has been what I used with no ...

I'm pretty newb too, I can try to help a little. First people are going to request that you have a signature with your setup, also your Calibration and strategy. Don't know anything about tweecer, but I do know there are places to acquire transfer functions for diff mafs that will get you in the bal...

LOL, I feel the same way. I had the Autometer wideband, but it would not datalog correctly, so I had to put the MTX in the bottom middle, which sux butt cause I spent alot of money to have matching gauges.. After all said and done I'll buy another Autometer after it's tuned.. 10336816_10201234942110...

EA injector slope calculator
I cant get EA to spit out injector slopes, it sits at "Calculating slopes" and never stops. I let it sit for 2 hrs and nothing. It will go through "Calculating Fuel", but after that it goes to "calculating Slopes".. Am I missing a setting in settings? I have my maf used in the first maf field and am...

Re: Is the IAC temperature controlled?
well being an adder I would think 1000 over what you are demanding may be a little high. If your demand spark is 800 and the adder is at a 1000. ECT is engine coolant temperature, so myself I would assume this is for cold starting.. When I start mine it hovers around 1100-1200 for a few seconds then...

Re: Load scaling / PRLDSW
Where does the "0" go?? Where do I physically change it?? It does not give me an option or place to input any number. Drop down gives me 2 options "scale load% or load%=load" that's it, there is no place to actually input any numbers.. Are you saying to pick from the drop down menu "scale load%" the...

Load scaling / PRLDSW
Trying to get a handle on all this but it just isn't working for me, just can't seem to grasp. In the scaling 101 write up, it states perload is the percentage of total load depending on what value the PRLDSW is set to. If prldsw is 0 then you are scaling load from FN035. FN035 must be dialed in to ...

Re: Suggestions for starter tune that won't damage an engine
Still very newb here, but for me to get started was to make sure I had a good transfer function for my MAF, so assuming you have a ProM or something you will find a transfer function in EEC for 42lb injectors, I just copied and pasted it into BE. Then find the values for your injectors and plug them...

what gauge are you using EDS?? I use the Sport Comp II, does it have a 5 volt lead off of the sender? And will it disrupt the gauge in any way? Is the EGR the only extra useable port to datalog?

It was at 47 so I turned it up(clockwise) and it went down to 46 then went back up to 57, So then I turned counterclockwise and it went down to 46, but would not go any further idle wise and would not restart, my screw was just out with no adjustment to the less. Am I reading the datalog wrong?

Re: Track my progress / where do I need to focus
I only had a chance to glance at your log, I'll take a better look at it tonight. It is definitely still lean up top. Is there a particular reason you only want 18-19* timing at 90% load? How much boost are you making at 90% load? Untill you start making boost there is no reason you can't run the s...

Re: Fuel 101 write up
I adjusted the settings in BE, need to set the wideband. Maybe in the write up it can be edited to say, "first make sure your WB and software are set to read
LAMBDA / LAMBSE"... Not saying it wasn't mentioned, just don't recall where... At least I learned some more today ;)

Is your WB set to read AFR or LAMBSE? Sounds like it's AFR and it needs to read LAMBSE for the write up procedure to work right.
