Re: Using the Moates SuperLogger, Quarterhorse, and Bluetooth

I have been using it. It works great. There were several bugs/issues that craig and clint helped me get through. I would say it's not for the average guy. If i get some time this weekend i will gather up pictures and type up some info. Im logging all sorts of stuff. I rigged up a bread board to clea...

De-clutch stall - intermittent

fox w/ Cbaza, h/c/i 302, t5, 5th gear coasting, about 40mph or less, hit clutch and it wont idle, just dies sometimes. VSS works on dash but not in the datalog. I think i need some schooling for fine tuning air values/dashpot so i can stop wasting my time. The books i have dont touch on this enough ...

For the sake of moving four more injector wires I think that is preferable to playing around with the injector firing order and injector output port.
10-4
I found a few pins not staying in place, which could make this a fun time getting tuned correctly.

Re: Unknown pcm identification

Fox harness with a (i think) a T4MO. From what i saw, old tuner moved the 3 wires necessary at the pcm for that swap, which requires the fire order change in the tune; as per decphia's direction. "MINIMUM REQUIRED to be moved to successfully operate an SN95 (94-95 5.0L V8) CBAZA Strategy ecu using a...

Re: Unknown pcm identification

Update: I got it idling on CBAZA. its finicky as hell. it seems i got bank 1 issue possibly, it reads dead lean at idle while bank 2 switches around stoich. give it some/enough throttle and bank 1 responds. so, i turned on open loop, set both fuel tables to stoich and set startup fuel to zero. custo...

Re: Unknown pcm identification

Well, i wonder why it didnt want to run.
I ran it with no chip and it still ran better than what i loaded.
I guess the pro m curve i used wasnt right.
I loaded the ford 24lb data, which the maf is matched for.

Since i haven't used a matched maf, should i leave injector and maf data stock?

Unknown pcm identification

So, i have a car im working on that has me a little stumped. Foxbody with a cbaza pcm. Customer is not a gearhead. Old tuner couldn't fix the hit idle surge. He is the one that did the swap. Customer stated the old tuner mentioned only needing to swap a couple injector wires. I see a plain butt conn...

Re: Using the Moates SuperLogger, Quarterhorse, and Bluetoot

All I'm doing is having the superlogger act upon the inputs its given and spit out a correction that the ecu will use, with my universal adx I standardized the memory locations for all payloads throughout all eec's. They are all the exact same now so there's no such thing as strategy specific anymo...

Quarter Horse Anti-lag setup

Anti-Lag tune switching will need the pins soldered to the QH. These are the instructions from Moates. I have extra female connectors to solder on and male wiring connectors. When I run out, contact Moates. http://www.moates.net/documentation.php?documentation_id=78 Its only active when the arming s...

already got it figured out, i found someone who knew. QH module mod allows a soldered connection for switching between tune 1 & 3. no ground = tune 1, ground = tune 3. im going to use a micro switch for clutch & 1st gear position and an arm/disarm switch. there are two ways to get boost. one is more...

Has anyone tried to simulate a 2 step?
Killing timing and setting a low rev limit.
The only concern i have is the rev limit is fuel cut and may not get the turbo to spool.
5 speed and i want to try a boosted launch.
