Re: "IPSIBR" Idle Air Integrator Strang Values

Forget IPSIBR and watch ISCKAM2 .. thought for sure this woulda been mentioned! It is my understanding fr reviewing the posts, that ISPSIBR is the instantaneous change like STFT AS OPPOSED TO WATCHING (LTFT). Thus, pulling in ISCKAM2 should ultimately pull in IPSIBR from an unstable condition. If I’...

Idle tuning (A9P)

After adjusting fuel fairly close and adjusting FN 841N (Idle-Spark Mult vs. RPM Error) to stabilize idle my car runs decently. I used 3/4 of the values offered by Cgrey on here in another post and the idle was much improved. However, now I’m doing the Idle Control as per Decipha write up. Problem i...

Just thought someone might have it quickly on hand .. was just adding some humor 😂 But thank you for responding .. luckily I was able to find it and got my sheets worked out correctly .. so I can go back to analyzing my logs w accuracy ...

Looking for formula ...

Looking for the Closed Loop formula (eec IV - A9P) for fuel error referencing Lambse, afr (gauge/recorded), and Kamrf so that I can calculate my fuel error properly in closed loop. Thank you for your help!

Re: Idle Air Adjustment Document

No my friend ... I viewed that looking for the Idle/Air Adjustment document that used to be listed on this site regarding adjusting lb/mass along w coming up w ITHMBA after calculation ...it’s quite similar to Decipha’s write-up on sorting out idle problems ... just do not see it under TECH DOCUMENT...

Idle Air Adjustment Document

Is the Idle Air Adjustment Document being revised? I don’t see it under Tech Docs.

Im familiar with the write-up at efidynotuning.org but like reading both in increasing my understanding since they are each a little different

Re: Still solving "rough" idle

Yeah when I saw your post I was amazed! You actually documented everything virtually I had also done! I was quite amazed bec you were thinking hard just like I have been and it’s been going on for years! Lol. Then I knew I wasn’t insane! Lol Do you still have your thermactor system connected?

Re: Still solving "rough" idle

Yeah I’m using 130 on closed valve spring also due to the supercharger ... my machinist thought it be a good idea w the supercharger to bump up the closed/open spring pressure a bit.

Re: Still solving "rough" idle

Also, w fuel gauge on shrader valve, I’m measuring 39 w vacuum disconnected and like 33-34 w it connected. My valves are not adjustable on my E7 heads but I used shins and after finding zero lash shims were used to preload lifters anywhere between 1/2-1 turn of the bolt ... one head came in between ...

Re: Still solving "rough" idle

Thanks Cgrey and ED550, I’m writing this trying to remember each of your points. Anyway, for my case, I’ve done mild porting to clean up around the bowls n seat along w some gasket matching .. nothing major. I did not measure all cylinders at tdc in their bores unfortunately. I did degree cam agains...

Re: Still solving "rough" idle

Wow ... and I thought I was the only one with this problem! Everything you’ve done, I’ve also done incl soldering 10 pin connector wires together. Mines got a Kenne Bell on it too which could be part of the problem. But, I have a lot of idle rpm variance and a lot of spark control jumping around a l...

Re: Idle problems

From what I know, you get a code 12 or code 13 from too low or high an idle set screw setting. You mentioned your getting the code 13 which I believe like you said is too high of an idle. This tells me that the idle is too high. Either it’s by the set screw or the IAC is always open. If set screw is...

Re: LC-2 WB Binary editor connection issues

Yes, that’s very important also! It’s kinda intuitive but then again not at times ... and usually harder the second or third time it’s needed to know to get things working ... def wish it was easier!!! It’s constant figuring things out ..

Re: LC-2 WB Binary editor connection issues

Fr what I remember, you have to go to hardware in be and set up the innovate ... this entails setting up x& y which is in the innovate literature ... something like 0 to 5 volts and equivalent to 7-22 af ratio ... then you on your computer pull up Control Panel and go to hardware ... once there, plu...
