A month or so ago I tuned a 421 CI Windsor in a 93 Lightning. It was naturally aspirated, big Pro Top Line Heads (or something like that) 42lb injectors and around 10.5:1 compression. The cam was waaay too small and running out of steam, but it still managed to make 360 hp and around 400 ft lbs of T...

So you wrote the same file to all 4 positions and it idles at 1200 correct ? Then when you put it to position 5 it still idles at 1200 ? Maybe try this just to make sure it's working correctly. Pos 1 500 rpm idle (I know it probably won't run long) Pos 2 1000 rpm idle Pos 3 1500 Pos 4 2000 And see w...

Thanks Chris ! Anyway I'll stop with this post since I'm not supposed to post any further "stupid" things or "stuff" that doesn't help. I will say that initially it looked like someone wanting to snoop on the TwEECer connection to snag commands going back and forth. That's why I posted what I did. W...

So why didn't you post your question in that context Jeremy ? You said nothing other than giveio is pissing you off. Then when the others replied you tried to tell them how it works. I'm not trying to be an ass either........ Oh and sorry I have no idea how to help you and I will not write "stuff" a...

After removing the goo I use green Scotchbrite and clean the J-3 connector until just a hint of Copper shows. I don't care what anyone else says :) I don't know how many people have tried just an eraser and have issues....... Ryan, you only had to clean yours with an eraser since the J-3 connector w...

OK good deal :) If it were me I would get the software loaded and just start looking at the items that can be changed. You mentioned idle, I would edit that scalar and download a file with just that change. That way you can get used to how the software works without changing anything major that coul...

Every single one of those questions are here on the UBB, just have some patience, slow down, and do some searching. From your questions it doesn't appear you have even the basic understanding of what you bought, and that's not good being that you can do serious damage to your car. I'm not being rude...

The learning curve is pretty much vertical, but you need to start slow and research what you want to change. You wouldn't make a post on how to build a motor with a shortblock kit in front of you would ya :) Anyway define some goals, then research how to achieve those goals. Take some time and learn...

I believe the WAY1 binary is the same, or if the pinout is the same you just load the VEX1 binary and tune from there since the TwEECer holds the entire ROM contents. Hey, I was just in the process of making a harness to run my (stroked) Bronco with a Tweec'd A9L and piggybacke WAY1 (to run my E4OD)...

Re: Dead TwEECer R/T?
Jose, when you installed the TwEECer did you do a Read EEC then write tweecer to each position ? If not then you might have one of Mike's test files loaded. Try doing that first (to each position), then do the dreaded clean the J-3 connector dance :) Let me know how it goes, I'm sure Mike will help ...

Mike, Jamie and I could use your help. He's tried two different TwEECer's so we've ruled out hardware. He's cleaned the laptop and reloaded the software to try to eliminate corrupted file(s) to no avail. Next step is to try to run the vehicle with no data log since the real issue is the truck cuttin...
