True 24lb injector data
I would think this has been covered but I can't seem to find a topic on it. So everyone knows the SVT clowns or whoever Ford farmed out the work to (Roush?) sets the low/high slopes the same in the 93-95 cobra calibrations, and left the breakpoint the same as the 19lb GT cal (since it's not used). I...

Sailorbob, Popsracing? Helping a friend tune his CBAZA 95 mustang, the base BE def is a little lacking (no scalar for Stoich etc).
I googled but no website for sailorbob, and Popsracing e-mail returns as no-go.

Re: Load W/failed MAF, 04 cobra AMZ1
Thanks for the quick reply, bottom row only or is the whole table (besides the top) divided by the top?
I've already expressed my distaste for SCT having owned the software, however like I've explained before the money has been spent, I'm stuck with what I've got for this vehicle.

Load W/failed MAF, 04 cobra AMZ1
Ok, so my MAF curve is dialed and now it's time to turn my attention to the LWFM table, however the Y-axis values have me a bit confused. I'm ready to start populating this table but I'm not sure what TP value corresponds to my logged value. I realize they are 'supposed' to be relative TP counts but...

Re: Decipha, accel enrichment discussion
Update, after going to A9L2 tune and doing many many changes the car is better but not quite 100%, I still get a very little bit of a bog right at the beginning of a light throttle tap; which unfortunately coincides with typical throttle behavior at leaving lights or light downshifts. I played aroun...

Re: 04 cobra (FBGIO) stock injector slopes
I'd be amazed if they were significantly different, 03/04 injectors are the same blue etc. Here is the scalar tab for the stock returnless values on an AMZ1 PCM. Note the derivative term is zero'd... so it's effectively a P.I control system :P. I've considered adding a little to see if I can get a l...

Re: Holley 30lb injectors in fox (GUFB A9L2)
Well I spent a bit more time driving/tuning the curve this time with adaptive learning on and using the long term/short term trims. Didn't touch the breakpoint or slopes, the inflection is gone, 2.4 and below is tuned just gotta finish the upper half but it looks close. I scaled the curve by 13% ini...

Re: 04 cobra (FBGIO) stock injector slopes
My bad, I read that as 'SCT' engineers but ya I get your point. Interestingly enough I discovered in the injector loadouts SCT has one for 'factory' 39 lb EV6 cobra injectors and one for ford performance 39lb EV6 injectors. And the parameters are not the same...

Holley 30lb injectors in fox (GUFB A9L2)
So I've been tweaking around with my car trying to get the transients and AE fuel right. I've been using the injector values/MAF curve the car came with. I decided to take a closer look and discovered the holley injectors. The slopes in the tune that came with the car are these: Fox injector slopes....

04 cobra (FBGIO) stock injector slopes
Ok so I have a BA2600 I'm going to install soon and I figured the stock injectors would be good for tuning in the MAF transfer. That said I'm not sure what ford had going on with the stock tune... For one the high injector slope is 1 lb off, not huge but can make a difference; according to SCT they'...

75-85 is 2236-2535 rpm, looks like load is .25 to .4, spark 35-45. My spark is at MBT all the way until 0.8 load, then gradually I pull 1,2,3 degrees as you go up in rows

04 cobra excessive closed loop amplitude, bad gas mileage
Ok so I have an 04 cobra, it's stroked aluminum block 5.0 with CNC ported heads but stock cams/injectors/MAF/pulley/fuel system/exhaust manifolds/ported and rebuilt stock blower. Very little 'tuning' has been done from the canned SCT tune, other than comparing it to the stock tune and changing the t...

Re: Adaptive fuel question on 04 cobra

Adaptive fuel question on 04 cobra
Let me start by stating that I'm familiar with the functionality of adaptive fuel, up to the point where the documentation leaves it a bit ambiguous... In that regard I have 2 major questions which so far I haven't found answers to online. 1. How the heck do you shut off learning for specific cells?...

Re: Decipha, accel enrichment discussion
Here's my cluster-tune if you care, do keep in mind I have 6 cars, one of them being an 04 cobra I just recently built an engine on and have been tuning with SCT stuff. This car (fox body) I've only had for a little over a month and I've been dealing with a bad rack and a bad distributor. So I've on...

Re: Decipha, accel enrichment discussion
Hmm looks like I need to do more reading, how does the ECU use both transient and AE for throttle stabs? Sounds like the transient table is more like a MAP delta enrichment kinda like in a F.A.S.T setup? Also read that the idle and dashpots need to be sorted out, mine are admittedly a mess as i've b...

Keep in mind I'm not doing back to back stabs, I'm waiting for the transients to die out.

Decipha, accel enrichment discussion
Hey Decipha, Just wanted to start a discussion about the fuel enrichment functions in GUF1. I've played with a bunch of different tuning systems on a variety of cars (MAF and speed density) and this has always been a difficult area for me. Perfect example is this fox I'm messing with now, it has 30l...

Ok so I tried 32 and ended up getting a little bit of audible detonation, finally got my timing light back from my buddy and yep, SPOUT out timing was 10 deg. So previous owner was effectively running 31 WOT and I bumped it to 37. Reset it to factory 5 and bumped the table to 32, car ran like previo...

Just got BE up in my laptop, story is I recently bought a 92 mustang with 30lb injectors, a bigger MAF (not sure which one) AFR 165s, stock cam, 1.6 rockers, performer 2 intake, bbk large tube shorties, stock EGR, stock smog pump stuff and stock 4 cat mid pipe (I live in CA). Transfering Moates license/registration
Hey Guys new member here, I just bought a fox body mustang which came with a moates setup with a dongle. I've never dealt with moates before are they ok with transfering a license to another person? Is there a fee involved? Who has done this before? I searched and couldn't find a specific answer to ...
