Re: Anyone willing to write a tune for some cash

Got it fired up and was able to run it home (about 5 miles) about 2,000 rpm after running it for awhile to make sure oil pressure and temp are going to be ok. Will not idle whatsoever... The timing is definitely off and will mess with that and throttle adjust just to begin with to hopefully get it t...

QH installed but not getting picked up in BE

I went through and downloaded what I thought was all the drivers and software I needed to get started here a couple weeks ago. Installed the QH in the EEC last night. I have not plugged anything back into the car yet. When I hook the QH up to the computer it chimes like plugging in any other usb, bu...

First startup

I found a thread here awhile back someone made about a first startup checklist and for the life of me I can't find it... Yes I know, should have bookmarked it dumbass! But if anyone could be so kind as to a reference to that thread or who created it I would be ever so grateful.

Re: Anyone willing to write a tune for some cash

Or better yet, I'll leave the current injectors in it, you write me a tune, and we can talk on the phone and you can tell me what to look for and the information needed to fine tune....

Re: Copying factory tune with QH blank

Thanks for your response decipha! Would I be best served buying a definition file from sailorbob, or will the one that comes with the BE update be sufficient? What strategy are you using? GUFB. The car is an 89 Mustang GT. Fresh rebuild with gt40p's, 1.6 rr's, LMAF, 24lb injectors, lunati cam, typh...

Re: Anyone willing to write a tune for some cash

Sorry for the omission of information, and thanks for the advice. I am using a Quarterhorse and Binary Editor. If someone is willing to do this for me we'll get in touch and sort out all the details.

Anyone willing to write a tune for some cash

Just as the subject says... My car is sitting in my buddies shop with a fresh rebuild. I need to get it fired up, broke in, and moved the hell out of his shop (its been taking up space way too long). I am very slowly learning here, but I was hoping I could pay someone to write me a tune just to make...

Copying factory tune with QH blank

No more reading, time to start doing! I realize a new QH is blank and if installed in the ecm this way the car won't run. My question is can I install it blank, read my factory tune, make adjustments to that, and load changes onto the QH, or do I need to use a basic template loaded from BE onto the ...

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to respond to my questions, and so quickly. I'm looking forward to diving in here very shortly and I'm sure I will have many more questions in the future. Like anything though, I'll do my best to figure it out on my own before being to bothersome.

Re: Frequent Visitors to Forum

Been reading for hours every day trying to read, learn and retain as much as I can before I get started. Just rebuilt my motor and should go back in the car next week. Received my QH and super dongle a couple weeks ago. This is an amazing forum with so much great information, yet very overwhelming. ...
