Trans calibration

Hi All, I am working with a 95 f150 . I am not new to tuning but this one has me stumped. The truck has a 4r75w trans with a CBAZ0 Def. the unit works good and is solid but I can not get it to drop back to 3rd gear easily enough. By that I mean that I have to push the throttle a lot to make it down ...

Re: A9L data prob

The question is . Does the fact that I do not have good ECT and Act data indicate a bad PCM ?
The sensors and wiring are good.

A9L data prob

I have what I thought was a good A9L PCM till I hooked it up to a 90 Must.
It runs the car fine but I have no live data in logs for ECT or ACT . The values seen to be PCM substitutes
The car's original PCM does have the actual data.'
The Caps look a little funky though. Using BE and QH .

Bad Chip ?

Hi all , I am working with a RUG 2 Strat tune and when I write the bin to a older J3 Moates chip it seems to write ok. The problem is when I read the chip I just wrote I get a lot of errors . I tried different Bins to no avail. The chip in question has been in several cars and is at least 3 years ol...

Re: MAF,AFR mapping in BE

Thanks for the help guys. I was rambling around and found a drop down on the mapping tool and dam if the vmaf
box was not checked. Turns out you have to set it ever time you open it. Such a simple thing .

I think it is a good tool. For a greenhorn like me anyway.

Re: MAF,AFR mapping in BE

I think you nailed it EDS50 . How do I adjust this ? Last time I fooled with the log titles EA blew up !

The is a box in the settings section of EA for maf to mafv or mafv to maf etc .

AS a greenhorn my knowledge is quite limited.

MAF,AFR mapping in BE

It's been quite a while since I've used BE/EA so I am rusty. Working with a A9P in a 90 Must and I can not get the mapping feature in BE to work .I keep getting a error message about no MAFV. MAFV is not listed in the payload to add but it is in the log that's in EA .Do I need to change some setting...
