Re: Corrupt tune

The single largest contributor I've had to this very issue is the MAF curve. Don't touch it while you're driving, or this could result.

There should be a warning screen that pops up for that too.

Re: Anybody here interested in Android data logging / tuning ?

I emailed him, and seems because of a lack of interest he didn't pursue it. So many are hooked on the SCT X4 as the only option, from reading Forums. I'm late to the game, been playing with Jeeps last few years, and got a zx3 and when I started pricing tuner options, was like WTF, people really pay...

but be curious to know why no one followed up on the app from user?
Looks like be handy...
I'm saving up my Google credits to purchase it here soon.

Most don't follow up because they don't want to pay $18 for an app

I just bought a dongle for binary editor, had everything downloaded and working, plugged in the dongle and let it setup
I then tried to open BE and it says I need at least version 1.159.
All I can find is version 1.153, what am I doing wrong here lol?
Email Clint or Adam. 159 isn't out yet.

Re: Read Chip and Copy to Quarterhorse

Tunerpro uses adx/xdf files vs Binary Editor xlsx/.bin files. Two totally different animals and setups. The BE .bins should be 56k. I "think" the TP files are 256k but not 100% sure since I only use BE. It depends on the binary. EEC-IV is usually 56k or 64k, and EEC-V can be 128k or 256k. The XDF c...

Try to attach it again. I logged in to see if *.xdf was an allowed extension, and it wasn't on the list, so I added it. Hopefully that will allow *.xdf files to attach now. I usually zip them in with the binary, but this is still appreciated πŸ‘ I believe I've updated it since the one you saw on efid...

CoreTuning (popsracing, Clint Garrity and Ben Head) have the strategy you're looking for.

I'd be surprised if SailorBob and Decipha didn't have it either.

Yes, there is (rightly) a lot of reuse. For example, so far I've only seen 2 1D lookup (function) code versions (OK some with minor variations) and 2 versions of the 2D code (tables). Why reinvent something which works ?? Mathematically and codewise, the way the 2D data is interpolated is very neat...

Partially unrelated, but building a kernel is actually quite reasonable. It does take some hardware on occasion, but modifying the kernel allows you to create your own support for troublesome hardware and untested filesystems.

IME, Windows is stuck until a publisher gets on top of things...

Re: Why auto disassembly is tough

Seriously but - I've collected quite a few bins for my test set, I've got over 100 now. About time I did that really, as I'm still discovering new code tricks in them. There are a couple where whoever did the dump had faulty hardware/connection, as it always has one of the bits set (so not useable)...
