Re: Stock bins
efidyontuning.com has the FBGIO strategy and the stock MGZT .bin as well as abundant info on how to use the fbgi0.xdf. He uses Tunerpro. I'm using it for an F150 because there's a lot of stuff to play with and it works with my cluster. I'm sort of surprised this resource hasn't been mentioned in th...

Re: Flashing EEC-V
Just a little more info, using a trial of Palmer's ScanXL, I have determined that my GM MDI2 CAN communicate with the Ford PCM - the Palmer software was able to connect to the PCM and read live data, and nothing fussed about connecting, so that suggests that there is the possibility that it would a...

It's also posted in the Tech Docs section: Ford GUFB strategy doc Although the link it was using appeared to be broken. But I found this by google-searching: GitHub / OpenEEC-Project / Strategy-Documents / GUFB.pdf The Tech Docs link is also updated to use this link as well. OpenEEC is helpful once...

Re: Aftermarket (Haltech, Pro-M, PIMPxs, etc) vs Ford ECU's for DRIVABILITY
What did you end up doing with this? I have a 460 that I am looking to put in a 2005 mustang. Would like to use the original ECU if possible. Want to figure out if I can make it work. I ended up going away from the original style Ford EEC platform, and went with the Haltech Nexus R5. Lots of reason...

Re: A9X series processor, is reflash something that can be done
The pump defaults on because the control transistor is an N channel fet. These work by passing a positive voltage to the gate pin, connecting the two negative poles (drain and source). The failure mode on transistors is usually failed "On"

Re: Swapping Applications
Ideally, a standalone would be your best bet to be honest. Something like a Stinger PimpX and a Ron Francis harness to start fresh in one go. The PimpX is Megasquirt based so you'll need to set the tune up, but they're infinitely more capable than the EEC boxes. My guess is they are going to be eas...

Re: QH compatible datalogging dashboard
Push your repository to git, we all can help. If you really want 'universal', we should decode all the DCL_DM_Transmit both PID and DMR, then all PIDs are already mapped in CPU, just have to read out the order, does not matter adx or cpu. That's how ForDiag does it. All the information is already i...

Did you use BE or TPRT? With TPRT you need to change the preferences so the emulator and datalogger share the same comm port.

Well, all of the tools that I have confirm that its been tampered with... the PATS code, VIN and other info makes no sense and t says that the strategy code is "single".

One could 3D print a straightener that has a lip on one edge that sockets into the pipe. The pressure from the other pipe and the coupler would hold it in place.

Re: Stock X3Z Bin on A9P doable or no?
I second the purchase of a wideband. It makes life a hell of a lot easier, not only for tuning but watching for misfires and overall engine health as well. Any modified vehicle should have one IMO.
