To label the tip-in spark table LIMP is misleading IMO
You are correct, the EEC-Tuner & the old Caledit software had the LOM_spark_table labeled as LIMP_spark_table!

TunerPro doesn't refer to LOM for FN904A and FN905A because no one seems to know what LOM stands for. LOM = Limited Operation Mode LOM_spark_table [mislabled as LIMP_spark_table in most software] is used only during rapid throttle change [tip-in]. Setting the LOM_ [LIMP]_ spark_table higher or lowe...

KAM feed= pin # 1[ yellow wire] open the curcuit on this wire & ground the processor side of the wire through a small resistor [cheap ins. to protect the cap.] this will flush the KAM instantly.

Good luck,

LM-1 users beware!

Anyone using the innovate LM-1 do not download the latest update! When you update the firmware your LM-1 will no longer work & will have to be sent back to be reflashed. [Firmware 1.42]
You would think they would test a new update before it is released! :x

There are two power feeds to the processor, key on & KAM power[keep alive power].KAM is live all the time[via fuse on 94>, fusable link on fox]. "Some" processors use a BOO signal [brake on/off] , when you disable KAM power & key off step on the brake the BOO signal will drain the caps. If your car ...

Try disconnecting the tweecer from the lap top first, the USB will try to power the processor when you cut power.

Brian,
You could connect pin 41 to a small relay[low amp] & have the small relay trigger the large relay[high amp], this does work.

IIRC, there is a hardware difference between an auto processor & a manual processor. The difference is because of the way the NDS[neutral drive switch, manual trans] & the NSS[neutral safety switch, auto trans] are wired. They are both wired to the same pin#30 but the auto trans wiring grounds the pi...

You can, but there are two problems with doing this : 1- your car won't run without the tweecer installed, 2- you will max out the 19* electronic's at WOT/heavy load, the 19 calibration hits 4.8 V at ~835 kg/hr. the 42 calibration hits 4.8 V at ~1890 kg/hr.

racinjason,
Join the red/blue stripe wires together, make sure the R/BS wire is attached to the small terminal on the selonoid. This will allow the car to crank without the clutch depressed, the other wires are used to shut off the cruise control when you depress the clutch. :)

Good luck,

The processor only has one output for 5V [VREF]it is used for all the sensors that require a 5V supply. On the fox stang's the single VREF output feeds the TP,EVP,& MAP/BAP. On the EEC-V the single VREF feeds the TP & PFE, you can connect your BAP to this feed with no problems, I think it is pin# 90...

Thanks for the info Brian, using the KAM switch method is the same as disconnecting the battery cable & touching them together. The KAM cap has a mili amp capacity so unless it gets "charge them up with some unknown value " there shouldn't be a problem. [hasn't been so far]

Thanks,

Hi Brian, I posted that last year on the Yahoo site, stepping on the brake pedal isn't to discharge the residual power [opening the door would do that, int.lights] but to pull power from KAM through the BOO [brake-on/off] signal to the processor. I'm glad it works for you.

The A9* also uses timing at idle for idle control [ you were right STANGAGE! ] in nuetral mode only. If your base idle is set higher then your computed idle the timing will swing to 15*[lower limit] to try & lower the idle, because the idle won't come down the timing will stay at 15*.
