Re: Difference between LAMBSE 1 and 2
A small difference is normal, but yours is quite large. A small exhaust leak can often cause the issue that you see.

Re: Gt swapped to Cobra engine
I don't know that a different computer/strategy will buy you anything worth the effort. Perhaps if you had a 96-98 Cobra engine with IMRCs, but even that would be marginal. I'd stay with what you have and tune the new engine and config.

One suggestion that you might try is resetting the EEC. I've seen weird behavior before when the KAM gets corrupted. Not sure if you've tried that yet.

One other wild idea. Have you played with DFSO in your tune at all?

Re: A9L2 low load cruising misfire or buck
I glanced over it and still come back to my other response. I don't know what others with your combo are running for spark, and I have a 4V, but mine couldn't handle that level of spark (38 degrees) without misfiring at that load level. It would be an easy test to just take 5 degrees out globally an...

Re: A9L2 low load cruising misfire or buck
You made a brief mention of spark. I had a similar issue and it took years for me to figure out that I was running a little bit too high of spark at low loads. Lowering my spark solved it.

Re: How to null a table
The EEC will always use the lowest aggregate spark when all adders are included. If you want to have it ignore one of those tables then raise the timing to amounts that are higher than the table you wish to use. Again, don't forget the timing adders though because there is more than just the table t...

Re: Light throttle bucking, adjusting cruise timing help
Took a quick drive tonight with EGR turned off - no bucking! Switched to the tune with EGR enabled - instant bucking! Datalog shows 30-35% load, 1200 rpm in 5th gear... Maybe EGR is the key (will continue trials)... I was just scanning these older threads and came across this post. I have been stru...

Is my Tweecer bad?
I was having issues this morning flashing a new tune and after the last attempt the fluel pump stayed running. I tried everything I could think of (reflash, different program, different switch position, reset EEC) and finally removed the tweecer and the problem stopped. It doesn't matter which switc...

Re: Thermactor backfire
Okay... I did some logging this afternoon and discovered something. While it does go lean at first, it then goes rich and "pulsates" lean to rich. My MAF flow pulsates at the same rate also. This means while decelerating in gear my blower is causing increased flow as compared to what I am using. Per...

Re: Thermactor backfire
Okay... I understand that but my offset is about 1/2 the setting of stock and pretty small. According to my wideband, when I decel my a/f goes a couple of points leaner, not richer. My struggle is the understand how that will lean me up much or solve the problem. So I am at 14.5:1 and take my foot o...

Re: Thermactor backfire
Yep, I have cats. So is the thought that by lowering the injector offset I am reducing the fuel when decelerating? How does that reduce the fuel while decelerating?
Oh and my wideband is before the cats.

Hey Guys, Been a while since I posted last but I've dusted off the beast and was starting to do some tuning again. I've got an interesting problem I can't figure out so I thought I'd post here and see what you think. I am running stock fuel tables with the exception of WOT fuel changes. My injectors...

Re: 2V to 4V Conversion Challenges
I have a friend with a 96 cobra that had a NOVI2k on it, it certainly had the potential to make more power than my car but in his case it felt noticeably less strong down low. It's not that big of a deal since with gearing you can reduce that (he had 4.10s). Now with an automatic I'm sure it would ...

Relative TP is not set at key on, the eec constantly adjusts the closed TP position downwards so that the various thresholds are not affected by the closed throttle value varying thought out the run. Are you saying that you can adjust the throttle opening and thereby increase or decrease TPS voltag...

If the EECIV is like the EECV, then you are correct. The relative throttle position is set at key on.Adam McLaughlin wrote: My experience with THIS practice has led me to believe that there is an observation made from the "ratch" position of the EEC when the computer is first turned on to run.

Sad news..... Yes about emotions...many forums have ugly shout-fests but I have been very pleased that it doesn't happen here. Lets don't start now. WRT the TPS, it sounds like what is being described is like how it is in the EECVs. However, there are two things that make it hard for me to accept. 1...

I couldn't guess at the new URL and it wasn't as simple as changing from "Webhop" so I just downloaded again.
If you want to edit the setting.xml file then the new URL should be
http://eecanalyzer.net/be/
and
http://eecanalyzer.net/ea/
You will still need new reg codes.

I did the same thing but pulled my Alternator fuse. I was able to run it down to 8v before the radio even stopped working. I stopped there and assumed it was good enough. Turns out I already had the right slope down to 11v but once it went below there I got too rich so it helped. It is amazing how f...

My recommendation is to use whatever has worked well with others for Injector Offset. As well, I'd recommend running an Injector Offset calculation in EA on an idle-only log that has various voltages with no electrical load, all the way to a disconnected alternator with high beams, blower motor, an...

Well it has never suggested that my slopes were reversed. Keep in mind that I have very little resolution left if I get close to stock offsets. At 13v my stock 24s were set at .66ms. I just raised them to ,42ms but would be nervous about going larger. As I mention above, when I was over 1ms the MAF ...

Your theory makes sense. I have these RC 52s and my HS is set at 52 and LS at 59. I have struggled to get my trims acting right and knew there was likely issues with the slopes/breakpoint/offsets. Given that these were all guesses, I am not surprised. Running EA, it is really confused and has not be...

I found when I was testing yesterday that I could take my MAF flow down to 15 kg/hr and it still held at 25% too rich at idle when I put 1.4ms in the offset function for my injector. This tells me that there is some amount of allowance between injector firing that is included with the other timing e...

If this data is right then those injectors wouldn't work for most vehicles. My plusewidth at idle is about 1.7ms. I tried 1.4ms for the setting and my MAF no longer affected the tune. I was running 25% rich at idle no matter how small I made the flow. I dropped a note to Clint and he thought those n...

Injector Comp Battery Voltage - weird data
I am running RC 55lb (550cc) injectors. One issue I have had is that no one has the inj comp battery voltage for these injectors so I have had to guess. For simplity I have just taken the ones I could find for 60s and recently started reducing it more. I just got an email (finally) back from RC that...

Bob - good luck with your new set up. With my suck through MAF I ended up with 2 bypass valves. One on each side of my IC core.
