Re: BE Program
I got it the other day too. I took my .NET stuff down to 1.1 or something like that (I'm no software guru) but still no luck. Finally I did a restore on my computer (XP) to take it back a couple of days, then I put .NET 1.1 on and downloaded EA and got it going. Then I started upgrading .NET to 2.X ...

Re: Frankenstein Foster
Pretty interesting setup. Just one question though, how do you establish flow through the IC when both pipes are connected to the discharge? It looks like you would need a divider welded into the discharge to diverte the air comming out of the compressor through the IC and then the cool air would ro...

How to fix FTD2XX.DLL error
I checked some of the other posts but still am not clear on things. Even though I did an uninstall of CalEdit I still see the STKR 1.30 and 1.30A folders and their contents. Do I need to remove these manually? Also, is their some kind of FTI driver that needs to be removed and then reinstalled? Are ...

My thinking is that under the same conditions, say 90 deg. ambient on a stock Fox Mustang may see say 140 ACT temp. since it is in the runner. However same conditions the 94/95 may be reading 100 ACT since it is in the MAF airflow and a little more isolated from the engine. So I would think the whol...

What ACT values change when 94/95 CBAZA ACT is relocated?
I've tried searching and just can't seem to come up with the parameters to change and what some values would be. Some have tried to help with A9L type info but the 94/95 CBAZA processors would be different since it was originally located in the MAF tubing. I'm running a KB with 8psi so am going to h...

Looks like LHBLO is the strategy for the other Gen.1 eecs.
Thanks to sstock over at www.noloc.net , he has lots of EEC knowledge and has set up his own tuning business recently to put it to use.

Tweecing Gen.1 Lightning EEC's (C3P1-C3P3)? Questions
I just got a 94 Lightning (Gen.1) with a C3P2 Speed Density EEC and am wanting to see what parameters are available for tuning. Also, if anyone has any tips or a good ccf for improving a mostly stock Gen.1 L they would be appreciated. I've looked over on nloc.net some and it appears they used to hav...

Looking for blown 94/95 (especially J4J1) CCF's to start.
Trying to get started tuning a KB on a 95 Cobra (J4J1). Terrible cold start issues currently and some detonation when getting into it. Can't get calcon going correctly yet and since I am laid up after some minor surgery, I'm hoping to get some CCF's to give me ideas to look at and help me understand...

How much timing to pull when ACT is relocated on a 95 blown
I'm wondering how much timing I need to pull across the board on a 95 Cobra that has a Kenne Bell Blower (around 8 psi) and has the ACT sensor relocated to the #5 runner. Also, I was going to pull timing across the board but is there a better place to make this correction? I'm using the Tweecer RT, ...

Help on base tune, 95 Cobra, J4J1, 42's, lightning MAF
I just got my top end together and in the tweecer I changed both inj. slopes to 42, CID to 306 and loaded the 90mm LMAF cur I get a pop/backfire through the intake even at idle and when I give it gas it about instantly revs to 3 grand. I haven't ran it on the road, need to get it somewhat normal. 30...

Major troubleshooting brainpower needed. Car is possessed.
OK, I was running a NA Cobra with HCI and Tweecer OK. Added an S-Trim, AFM power pipe and converted to a Fox intake, EGR, smog pump and thermactor delete, still running cats. I also added a 77mm/50lb ProM and 50lb inj. Car would start, idle fine and run on a test drive but popping and stuff I attrib...

How to adj. J4J1 timing for 10psi?
How and where do I adjust the timing? I know about the base, borderline and altitude tables but what confuses me is the load and rpm relationship. Should some tables be nulled out so you just work with one table? What numbers should I use on the base tune, 20 or so total? Do you just pull the timing...

Help please on base tune, S-Trim 50 Pro-M and inj.
I just put an S trim, 50 lb. MSD inj., 80 mm. Pro-M calibrated for 50's and a Wideband on the car, 95 Cobra. It has a small custom cam, AFR heads and the usual bolt ons with a Fox intake. I notice that when warm my AF shows around 16:1, however when I give it gas the AF goes leaner to 18:1 or more a...

Backfire through MAF when cold, help?
I bought a 95 Cobra with Ed Curtis HCI combo that would pop or backfire when it was cold and you gave it gas from idle. When warm it was OK so I let it go. Also, it stinks like unburned gas even with cats on. I just put an S Trim on it with 50 lb. injs. and while it idles surprisingly well, it does ...

Sorry, I don't know about a BXR but I have a Roush 5.0L 3 piece intake for sale, NIB. I bought a few when they cleared the shelves, sold 3 last year and am gonna keep one and sell one whenever. Info on them is hard to find but they appear to use the same principle as the BXR (I don't know which came...
