Re: At a loss

Still slightly on the lean s]ide, added a few percent to maf. This should be much closer. I'm still not seeing why KAMRF won't move. And I would like to get the idle speed match the desired RPM. I suggest opening the throttle stop 1/2 turn (w/key off), the eec will reset so no worries there. I'm goi...

Re: At a loss

Small update. Time to move on to some part throttle logging. And only log fully warmed up, you could actually start logging 60 seconds after engine start. Try to hold 1500, 2000,2500,3000 rpms in neutral. 5-10 seconds on each rpm should do. I think you can test drive it, just stay under half throttl...

Re: At a loss

Excellent. Its now on the rich side a little. Backed off the injector slopes and added the 24# maf transfer. Install the C&L and log this.We are now 'in the ballpark' with injector slopes.

Re: At a loss

Fueling is not close enough yet for the eec to learn. Once LAMBSE is at about 14, I expect KAMRF to start learning.

Re: At a loss

Ok, the BAP is accurate than. I'll be honest, I'm not seeing the expected change in LAMBSE or KAMRF moving from 1.
Try this, and hopefully I will be able to atleast see if its going it the right direction. (if I can get the file to attach)

Re: At a loss

You would not be touching the stock maf transfer. Its known accurate data.
Set injector hi and low slopes to 34, stock maf, stock maf transfer. Log a hot start to see where its at.

Re: At a loss

Get a ProM meter that comes with flow data. That was a joke, couldnt resist. Lol C&L meters had a bad rep for not having flow data, just matching sample tubes with injectors and no tuning. It actually worked fairly well, I had a buddy run his fox like that and it worked well. I have run my 42# maf a...

Re: At a loss

With the 24# sample tube, you need a 24# transfer functions, regardless of what injectors are in it. That formula is for not having a transfer sheet for the maf. So its 24/19, not 34/19.

Re: At a loss

I understand not needing to match with the meter just not sure which transfer numbers I would start with in this case. Im looking at some of the frpp 47lb Are you planning on any power adders? 47s would work but its overkill NA. Keep it simple when starting from scratch: Hi & low slopes-just enter ...

Re: At a loss

I would suggest 30# injectors. I'm also wondering if your C&L @24# is enoght MAF, so keep that in mind when WOT tuning.

No need to match maf and injectors when you have a QH. That was for adding larger injectors before we had tools to tune the calibration.

Re: At a loss

The issue is not the actual data for the injectors. Based on the log, they are acting like 14lb injectors when you enter the data. The log looked solid otherwise, I don't think its vacuum a leak issue. I suggest a sanity check. Load an unmodified a9l bin and hot start log that. I really would like t...

Re: At a loss

No need for a cold start. Fastest way to dial in the fuel is a hot start. Once fuel is dialed in, I find that cold start settings are fine stock.

I thought about the 30 low slope, it is going the wrong way. (my bad) The hot log will tell.

Re: At a loss

Cannot open the zip. Looked at the .csv log and saw: no closed loop, KAMRF never moves off 1 it is lean at idle by about 1 point. idles at just above 1v, but this really means nothing. Its within reasonable range. Try 30 for low slope. Not sure why KAMRF has not moved at all in that log. Again, only...

Re: At a loss

Clear KAM Take your stock maf curve, multiply the Kg/Hr column by 1.26. (24/19) You confirmed the #24 sample tube, right? Set hi & low injector slope to 24. and see how its running. If it runs ok, log a fully warmed up idle. The emission stuff should not matter at this stage. What's the maf voltage ...

Re: At a loss

Working with two unknowns, and you are surprised? Without a log and tune, there isn't much help I can offer. I would remove one of the unknowns to dial in the other. Do you have a stock MAF lying around? You could dial in the unknown injectors. That's assuming the engine is healthy, the electrical s...

Re: Hanging idle after throttle blip

The things I found to have the most impact on idle quality & stability: Idle fueling - maf & injector data. The bigger the injectors and maf, the smaller your 'window' is to get this dialed in. FN875D, FN875N. Needs to be raised. FN824. Idle target is set for the stock ~600-ish rpms. None of this ma...

Re: Hanging idle after throttle blip

My closed throttle tp volts are about .7v. I just put on a new tps, no mods to adjust. Works fine.
