You can also set HCAMSW to Restricted. Make sure to clear the KAMRFS prior to making either change(s).

Moates Out of Business

No its not a joke. For those that don't know Moates decided to close the doors and shut the business down. Very sad to see. With that being said; what do we do now and which direction to go. What's everyone's thoughts?

If decipha has everything for free, feel free to hit him up for what you need. Assuming you have a quarterhorse, have you tried installing it on your mach 1 ecm and try reading the rune off the ecm?

Re: Tuning Knock Sensor Sensitivity

Thats definitely a solid approach. I had to reduce the sensitivity on mine in low load accelerating conditions because i noticed it was pulling 9 degrees just pulling off from a stop light.

Re: Stock 03-04 Mach 1 bin

You're most likely gonna need to purchase the Strategy from CoreTuning. I don't anticipate anyone who purchased the encrypted strategy to share it for free. I think you'll need to purchase the strat to be able to view it also.

Re: Stock bins

My ecm is ryak1/zya2 in my mach 1. I would contact Ben at coretuning to see if he can send you an unlocked tune to study on. Alot of people used sct/bama tunes on the 99-04 cars.

I think the hardest thing to tune in these cars is the knock sensors without shutting them off in the tune and some of the idle parameters.

Re: What's Considered Too Much MAF Adjustment?

Your corrections for your combo is typical. You are using a maf "calibrated" / Intended to be used with 42# injectors with 80# injectors installed on an ecm calibrated for 19# injectors. If you still have adaptives enabled you will just be pissing up a wet rope trying to dial in your fuel and the re...

Re: Find injector data through trial and error vs paying someone to find it

If you are using a decipha strategy and tune you "should" already have the correct injector data input into the tune. Have you tried reaching out to him regarding your concerns? Have you tried to compare your tune that you posted to a stock .bin?

Re: Anybody know of any ACTUAL LED Fog Lights?

I havent found any led fog lights worth a damn. There are some good companies that sell led conversions for your original fog light housings that have a wide spread. Give superbrightleds.com or xenonhids.com a look. I personally use HIDS for my headlights and foglights on my mustang as the led kits ...

Re: Speedometer and BE dont agree, VSBAR and a trans swap

Changing the speedo correction will only change the display on BE to match your physical speedometer in the car. I have my apeed correction set at 1.05 to correct the transmission gear/speedo gear combination which was off by a few mph over 35 or so mph. Experiment with it.

Re: Speedometer and BE dont agree, VSBAR and a trans swap

There is a provision under the datalog tab called speed correction on the bottom right you can use to correct any speed discrepancy between your displayed speed on your speedometer and the BE dashboard/gauge.

Re: Blow through meter on n/a engine

I would target the outer side of the bend. Air will always rush towards the farthest bend. I would stick with what you are currently using. The c&l would depend on which sensor and sample tube its equipped with. I see your using cbaza so the c&l might be wirth a try with the corrrct sensor. Also wha...

Re: Blow through meter on n/a engine

If possible try clocking the meter housing so tge sampling tube is more in line with the bend thats coming into the front of it. It will help straighten out idle and overall driveability once the sampling tube and outer radius of the bend are lined up better. Thats what we used to do with the cold a...

Re: (Assumed) Commanded timing not matching actual

I think what he's calling "actual" is more correctly called "datalogged." Using a timing light would be "actual." If I understand correctly, the datalogged value he's referring to is the calculated value that the EEC is telling the TFI module to run the engine with. Using a timing light would tell ...

This is typical of the tfi ignition. Every combination and parts used is different so I've learned to verify ...

Re: Blow through meter on n/a engine

In my experience, not all draw/blow thru work well with bends in front of the meter. Placement and clocking is key with sample tube housings as the air can rush around the sample tube depending on the placement of the housing and bend radius in front of the housing. Placing or clocking the meter sam...

I would concentrate on functionality and application. With tuning capabilities blow thru will "work" in an N/A environment as long as its properly placed in the intake tract and the correct housing/sensor is used. Ill wait to get into more specifics regarding which meter is recommended to use and wh...
