Stupid Q: Win 98 OK?

Post by Chucko » Tue May 25, 2004 11:01 am

I picked up a used Compaq laptop for use with a TwEECer RT (which I will eventually pick up). It came with Windows 98. I know the TwEECer s/w is supposed to require a minimum of Win 98 SE, but will it work with straight 98? Thanks.

The problem with Win98 is that it did not ship with USB support and the service pack that adds in USB support -- well, it sucks!!! Win98SE shipped with USB support and has not shown any quirks with its USB support.
