TwEECer RT driver not being recognized.

Post by ERStettin » Thu Aug 28, 2003 5:23 pm

I have loaded the software from www.tweecer.com for my TwEECer RT and have gotten to the loading of the TwEECer RT driver portion of the manual. When I follow the instructions and the hardware installation wizard comes up it won't recognize the driver or install it on the TwEECer.

I have uninstalled all the hardware from my computer and reloaded it, I have updated my Windows XP with all the driver updates available and followed the intstructions for it's installation and still it won't recognize it. I get a window that comes up that says it appears you may have problems with your new hardware or something to that effect. Is it the TwEECer that is messed up, my computer and me, or a little of both? Has anyone else had this problem?

When I click on Cal Edit and Cal Con, they both open up on my computer. However, this driver thing is a bit weird. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Another thing, when I open Cal Edit on my computer I automatically get a window that comes up with A9L in it and where it is located, I then click to try and open it and it says "cannot open file" with the address in the c drive where it is located. If I click on fuctions, scalers, et. I get a window that says "tbDBF1 Missing table name property"?

Anyone have this happen before? Thanks.

The driver is in the "program files\stkr\driver" subdirectory. Just tell it that it is there and it should load. Others have had issues with XP but I don't know about that.

Good Luck, Don
