how to install A9L PL file?

I know I need the a9lpl file and I downloaded it but it still shows the A9L CC file when I open caledit. How do I install the new A9lPL file?

A9LPL.DBF should be saved to your Data folder in STKR. It is the canned payload file we use for the datalogging. You do NOT open it with CalEdit, but CalEdit does use it -- just without user intervention.

So it doesnt matter that it still shows that its using the A9L CC file? I had tried before to go to import and enter the A9LPL.DBF file but it said somthing like it the file was corrupt or improperly configured. Does that matter?
