There is a Ford book referred to as EEC ARCHITECTURE AND HARDWARE REFERENCE MANUAL circa 1998 and I would like to read this document.

Does anyone have one they could lend me so I may study it and return it?

I think Tom Cloud's document from 1998 is far more enlightening and beneficial:

This is where we are still trying to decode and understand the actual CPU binary code. Simpler ones done, and A9L which was a very common early US box, has a lot of information.
