eec inputs which if not all are important ?

Post by rick978 » Mon Aug 25, 2014 8:18 am

in our ford mustang running nhra stock elim n/sa we are stuck at a certain elapsed time .we are going to install either a tweecer or moates setup as long as nhra says it legal but after saying all that the stock ecm's imputs that its not seeing is the egr because weve deleted it and i was just told it has no speedo input (which i believe is important) the car is running a c4 in a 91 stang with 4.88 and a 30 x 9.5 tire .if the speedo is needed for the ecm to work correctly what gear combo for the tranny ? and where do i get one ? thanks

There are a couple of functions that utilize the speed input, but I don't think they're super important for a drag car, but if you have a QH, you can just tune them out
