I am wondering if anyone has used any of 14point7.com's products? Im looking at the spartan 2 specifically. I have an LC1 in another vehicle of mine, and while its a good unit, ive been reading that they arent the most reliable long term and they need to be fresh air calibrated quite frequently. The LC2 is supposed to be a more reliable unit, but how much more reliable is the question. Plus they are still using the bosch 4.2 sensor, where i can get the spartan 2 with the new bosch 4.9 sensor for less. I'm wondering how difficult it will be to get the transfer function setup correctly in BE with the spartan 2 vs the well documented and programmable LC1/2. I might just bite the bullet and give this a shot and see how things pan out anyway. But im hoping to get some other peoples opinion on it before i drop the cash so i can make a more informed decision.
Thank you

Re: 14point7 WB?
i have had a few of their products a had a few of the original jaw's they woked reliably but signal was jumpy, still an improvement ofer the lc1 it replaced. then the slc came out i bought one of the first batch and the unit still works 4 years later on the same sensor on a dd car( the sensor i think is going bad when it gets below 0*F it errors out). i havent tried one of the spartans, but im willing to bet it is better than the innovative.

Re: 14point7 WB?
I had the original JAW that I blew up by screwing up the battery connections. I just installed a Spartan in my boss's car this summer and it's pretty straightforward. Power, ground, 5V signal and simulated narrow band. If you can enter values in the transfer function, there isn't any reason any wideband would be harder to set up in BE than another.
