im changing from lhblo to ahacb and have a few questions about the best way about doing things
1. the act, should i use the one in the maf or the manifold? the wiring is simple enought to change at this point, just wondering if the heat soak from the manifold mounted one would cause issues.
2. pcv vent. i have a 90mm accufab tb which has no provisions for pcv inlet, can the maf be programmed around unmetered air, i would like to keep the engine bay as clean as possible with minimum plumbing.
3. scaling airmass. when sd i went above the 63 lbs/hr limit in the ve table and had to scale it. will this apply to the maf ecu? i don't believe the engine to make more than 450hp and have a 90mm lightening maf.

Re: SD->MAF a few questions
got the conversion done, built a tune for it to match sensors ,rpm scaling etc. fired it up, shut it off and went home for the night, came back the next day and the tune was corrupted(replaced battery about a year ago). did a bit of minor tweaks i upped the air mass required in neutral and park and it was near perfect, burnt a chip and put it in for over the winter.
i don't believe how easy it was to get running well enough so that it was better than speed density, only 2 problems i had was the act in the maf is bad(!#%#$% ebay crap) and i will have to plumb a crankcase breather behind the maf

Re: SD->MAF a few questions
yep thats the beauty of mass air, you tune to the peripherals and not directly to the engine
