What's the likely catch code for 95 Lightning EEC?

Post by Eddieflores » Tue Oct 03, 2017 12:54 pm

Hello, trying to find out what the catch /calibration code my eec has. Bought a 95 Lightning about 4 months ago and came with a fiveology maf kit and i would lile to know some info on this kit. Thinking of getting a tweecer to play with it a bit.
The eec has a charpie mark of 78-6167 on the gray part and some red numbers, 9445 2203 e9af 14a624 aa, gray part number foaf-14a459-aa and the sticker which I've seen before on original eecs is gone. Maf sensor part# f5uf-12b579aa 3j24.
Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

IIRC, the fiveology mass-air kits use the AHACB strategy.

Tweecer would work, but the QH is better.

thanks guys for the info. reason why I ask if the tweecer rt will work is because i have been balancing my options around buying a tweecer rt or the qh and at this moment I've been offered a deal on a tweecer rt. so I was leaning towards it mpore, guess i'll try it and if I don't like it i'll save up again for the qh.thanks again guys , like the web site.

I would just do it right, and buy the QH the first time.

Okay, after much thoughts, decided to buy the QH. And still more questions to come...will the aem wideband 30-4110 work with the qh? Or do i need to keep looking for another brand? Have ordered the binary editor and eec analyzer already, working on downloading the usb drivers. Any other things i might be forgetting? Thanks guys, really appreciate the help.

The wideband gets interfaced into the EGR valve position sensor input on the EEC. Nothing to do with the QH really.
