Ect sensors, are they all the same?

Post by dthompson » Tue Feb 14, 2023 12:37 pm

I really need a shorter ect sensor due to a fuel line interference. I looked in BE ( L1C eeciv with Gsalc strategy) and didn't see a place to modify an ect transfer function in order to use one of those small gm style sensors. Is there a smaller, shorter ford sensor that will work? Currently using an 89 thunderbird sensor, think it was pretty common on most fords of that era. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Derek

The 'ECT/ACT Transfer' (aka FN703A) function is in there but if you wish to use an ECT sensor with a different curve you will need to change the ACT sensor too as the share this function.

Thank you very much, I completely missed that when searching.
