(SOLVED) Innovate LC2 slow serial connection response

Post by Odrapnew » Sun Aug 03, 2025 10:34 am

SOLVED (i think): I loaded Logworks to the newer laptop and it was updating like it should. Guessing my tooning laptop is just too slow. I tried a different USB port and it was still slow. Might be time to retire the 15yr old laptop. Gives me excuse to get something smaller and more portable.

My old Innovate LM1 finally died, so I got a new LC2.
I believe Innovate is the only one to work with Tweecer.

Anyway, I had the old LM1 connected via serial output with a serial to USB cable and it worked fine.

I connected the LC2 the same way with same adapter cable and it's very slow to update.
We're talking 2-3 seconds and very inconsistent.
I checked it via Logworks and BE, both are slow.
The analog output to my DB gauge is fast to update.

I'm using an older laptop, so I'm going to try our newer one to see if it has same issue.

Anyone have any thoughts?
