Anybody here interested in Android data logging / tuning ?

Post by 3400tZ » Sun Apr 29, 2018 9:42 pm

Hey guys,

I will present myself, I'm Sébastien, author of ALDLdroid. ALDLdroid is an Android app that uses TunerPro ADX and XDF file to to data logging and tuning on Android. I've been developing it for almost 5 years but the app is currently more headed towards GM ECUs and does support some Moates products such as the Ostrich, BURN2 and Autoprom. I'm basically wondering if people here that own a QuarterHorse would be interested in QuarterHorse support in my app ? Possibly other hardware as well if there is anything else that could be useful. Anyway, with the QuarterHorse, the goal would be full data logging and tuning support. People that already own a QuarterHorse would only need the 20$ app to be up and running on Android (and possibly a 2$ USB OTG cable if you don't already have one).

Here is the Google Play link for the app: Google Play. And here is the Web site: Web site

If some people are interested, I will need an ECU for bench testing. If somebody has or know where I can get an ECU on the cheap side, I would appreciate. For the Quarter Horse, I will most likely end up ordering from Moates directly but if somebody has an already QuarterHorse equipped ECU, that's even better.

Please let me know guys if you have any question or any feedback would be appreciated really,
Thank you 8)

Always nice to see another android enthusiast 😄. Craig sells a BT adapter that would be perfect for this.

Yes that would be good, both QH and Superlogger support.
Cheers

I'm saving up my Google credits to purchase it here soon.

Most don't follow up because they don't want to pay $18 for an app

I emailed him, and seems because of a lack of interest he didn't pursue it.
So many are hooked on the SCT X4 as the only option, from reading Forums.
I'm late to the game, been playing with Jeeps last few years, and got a
zx3 and when I started pricing tuner options, was like WTF, people really
pay that...
I'm for a fair price, but not being able to tweak it myself, I do not really care
for.
Then came across the Quaterhorse,
