Try saving off the config folder and then in BE on the settings and user prefferences pres the reset to factory defaults and then restart BE and check.

Tried using the latest GUF1 def file and C3W bin from eecanalyzer.net today to help my buddy tune his 93 5.0 mustang without sucess. Several of the datalog values (rpm, ect, act, tps, etc) were fixed and wouldn't not read correctly using BE2010 and the quarterhorse as if the payload addresses are wrong. Any idea what may be going on there?

Each of those are patch code assisted payload values, so it's got to be a problem relating to that. But I don't know what the def file would have to do with that, particularly if it works in BE2012. At least I haven't had any complaints of it not working...and I've made no changes to the payload details OR the patch code in many versions.

I've never tried messing with the guf1 strategy and c3w bin file before. I'll try data logging one of my cars (gufb a9l or cbazo hug2) to make sure nothing screwy is happening with my setup which I don't think it is as I've never had this problem before.

Maybe it's time to bite the bullet and get the newest version of BE

Usually if the values are stuck then the Quarterhorse is not in the correct mode or the tune being logged is not the tune being served to the Quarterhorse.

To correct this issue simply move the mode and switch setting to something else and close the window and then go back in and change it back. This will re sync the QH with modes and tune selection.

The latest GUFx defs (v99) were sent to Clint and should be available on the eecanalyzer.net website.

Let me know if there are any problems found with them. I've tried to keep a tally of all the things that change from version to version, but it's a LONG time since v98 released, I don't know that I captured every modification I did to the defs.

If there are issues identified, start a new thread detailing what is wrong.

Current revisions for GUFA, GUFB AND GUF1 V.101 are tested, good to go and ready for download. (They are still listed as v.98 on the EECANALYZER site but are current v.101.)
