BE Dongle flashing its red LED

Post by Jman » Tue Apr 30, 2024 10:30 am

Hello,

I'm a bit of a noob with little BE experience and I tried searching but could not find my answer. I have BE 5.852 on a Windows 7 laptop and no matter what USB port I try the Dongle's red LED is on for 10 seconds and off for 10 second and the cycle continues.

This flashing seems to only happen with BE opened and running so I almost inclined to think this is normal, and how you tell if the Dongle is communicating with BE. This is a laptop I've only recently started using and it been years since I used BE at all.

If someone could let me know if this behavior is normal that would make me feel better.

Please Advise

well after seeing this has been read 60 times with no replies how about a new question.

Does anyone else using BE see their Dongle's red LED blinking on and off when they're using it?

Thank you

Seems normal.

Never taken any notice of it previously, but same here when BE is open.
Cheers
