I moved the big BE file from documents to the folder in (C) labeled Binary Editor.

There should not be a space between 'Binary' and 'Editor' in the folder name.

Today I attempted another reload of BE the repair way. When the desktop shortcut icon showed, it still has a Windows Defender shield as part of it. Over an hour ago, this is all that happened when I open the Binary Editor program to use it. Nothing else. This is what it looks like over an hour later. I thought that the big work screen is supposed to pop up behind this?

Tonight, I'll look on my other machine to see if there is a year-old version hiding in there.

I think that I have had a breakthrough. I attempted to use a year-old program but the size of it (too small) made me wonder if that was going to work. It did a wonky install. I then went back to Core Tuning site and did a fresh download. This was after dropping the firewall and any other protections that I could. It wanted me to uninstall the BE program in order to complete the fresh install. I don't want to quite want to say that I got it working all of the way, but I did finally get the BE to load. It opens with what I earlier called the "work screen". I closed the program and the went to the desktop shortcut that this time "did not" have the Windows Defender/security blue/yellow shield and it functioned properly opening the program again.
After another cup of coffee, I'll try it with the dongle/key. I'll update in an hour. Thanks for any help.
ADDED 20 mins later" firewall back up. Last night, I'm not totally sure if the shield was attached to the shortcut, but this morning it is. As BE was loading, I finally have the silhouette of the Mustang during the program loading. Key is in the USB port.

I have successfully moved the token file from a folder that was labeled old BE files, back to the functioning BE folder.

But when I moved the DEF file to the BE folder, now I have Binary Editor>DEF>DEF. I'm not good at doing the pc things correctly the first time around...

And I have all appearances of functionality with the strategy/calibration loaded. Am I missing something as far as making it fill in all of the blanks? I haven't used BE in 7 months, so it is like learning how to use it again.

The one token that came with the BE/Moates package was used on READ0A7

Well, I haven't totally fouled things up. I can see my registration is still good along with the 1 token use log from February 1st, 2026.
Clint has written a great program if I can't FIU. (foul it up).
Question though. Should my parameters be loaded if I have the strategy/calibration in place? I'll check in later. I have a long list of
mundane morning tasks to do. I'll check in later at lunch and after going through the Leech Motorsports videos again. The Win Def shield attached to the shortcut on the desktop still bothers me.

I've got it back working again. This first started as a functionality issue. I made matters worse by uninstalling my BE. I have it going again and that would be version 5.943. Thans John, Derek and Clint for taking time out of your day to help me get going again. Greg

John, Tomorrow morning, 12 hours from now, I'll attempt to recreate what I did here at home on the laptop at work. Friday night it was 10 p.m. when I finally got it to work. At that point, I couldn't keep my eyes open. I need to research token purchasing. I haven't come across anything here. I'm sure that it is not complicated, but I can make it that. Thanks to you guys and your patience helping me.

So far on my desktop pc at work, I haven't been able to replicate the reload properly. I can initially tell there is a problem with the program when I go to use it after installing. The words BINARY EDITOR in a green block shaped letters. The siluete outline of a late model Mustang is not there. Then the update screen loads up, then the worktable screen never loads. You can close the program then go to click on the shortcut and it gives the same message that it was giving during other malfunctions. I'll try again Wednesday.

I think that I'm using a corrupted download. Hopefully tomorrow, I'm going to try to do a reinstall. I keep getting this mesaage when I want to download this one out of 8399 individual bin files. I should be able to put it in my file/s to open when I click to do that. Here is a snip of the screen. Look at the words in red after searching for RAAD4

So no defintion for RAAD4.

Best to contact core if you believe you have paid for RAAD4.

John, I'm under the assumption that the beb files are available to work with one as I did with the the READ0 file previously and then a token will get used when it is time to move the file to the Quarterhorse. I may be missing something as it has to do with downloading the files from the database, but I don't think that I would want to download all 8399 of them into my laptop for future use. I don't think that they would fit. (just under 2GB). They might.

I'm wondering why yesterday's download version 5.944 is 82,661kb. That is bigger than the version that I downloaded 8-6-26 that is a few kb smaller. When I can, I'll determine what version it is from August 6th.
ADDED several hours later: The version from August 6th is 5.943. tonight, on the home laptop, I'll install it hoping to make the token/dongle update work.
The token/dongle upgrade won't function and let me enter the info from the file that Ben sent to me when I purchased my 2nd token, this past Monday the 17th.
