Proper file size for a BE tune?

Post by StangD » Mon Oct 05, 2015 9:43 am

I am using the current version of BE. My tune files are about 8MB in size. When I originally started using BE2012, my tokened tune file and a few of my original tunes are well under 1MB. Just curious what I should expect to see as a normal tune file size. Thanks.

Not sure I know where the change log would be. I was looking in my old tune folder. The file size appears to have jumped from about 59KB to 8MB in a single day (long ago). I wouldn't think I could type changes that fast.

Thanks. That literally made the files about 99% smaller.

here's a chart of valid binary file sizes

http://info.efidynotuning.com/dis.htm

its the first chart on the page

if you have an encrypted def you'd most likely have a file size 2kb larger (with no history saved)
