Post by Cyeargz » Tue May 15, 2018 9:26 am

I started a new project and contacted sailorbob for a his luxo strategy. But he told me I needed be 2010 build 41. Im running build 23. Is there anyway I can update to the latest build?

Keep waiting....BE 2010 is obsolete. Why wouldn't you just update to the latest version of BE or instead of waiting over a year, contact Clint to see if he can help you?

I've got a Build40 of BE2010. It's far from the latest version of it, but it's better than nothing if you just need a BE2010 installer.

It depends on where I was when I first read the original. If I was out of town or just out, I could've easily forgotten about it. I don't consider it an absolute obligation to respond to every single query. Sometimes I'm simply not the subject matter expert. Other times I may have something to add, but I'm not in a place where I can take the time to form a response (or I'm not on a device that I can type on easily). There's numerous reasons. It certainly wasn't personal.

Same reason it took you over a year to follow up on your own query which is the only contribution and involvement you have had with this forum and community. Your question may have been missed, overlooked, forgotten about or just not able to be answered which is unfortunate but sometimes happens. No one responded most likely due to the fact that we don't carry old/obsolete software builds when the current build is available and properly maintained and supported. You took the time to contact sailorbob for his latest luxo strategy for your project over a year ago; why didn't you at the same time contact Clint@eecanalyzer.net for the build you needed? All that aside, cgrey8 offered you what he has and it appears by your response to him that his offering wasn't good enough to accept now and probably would not have been over a year ago had he been able to respond. Since cgrey8's offering is not good enough for you by the tone of your reply, I would recommend contacting Clint to see if he has the build you need available for the operating system and strategy you are running and/or discuss upgrade options with him so you can be up and running with your project.

Why the fuck would i bother clint over some old software version? And to answer my own question. It took you a year to respond because you have nothing better to do anymore than to rant about year old posts that were ignored. Luckily i dont rely at all on this forum for anything. Cgrey thanks anyways. Eds50 go fuck yourself and your ego.
